Tropê used to be fantastic and would go there often. Unfortunately the past 5 times the shakes there have been really bad. At those prices I think 5 chances is enough and won’t be going back again. It’s too bad

Had a cake order to pick up from the Mackay location. I went during their posted operating hours, but the store was closed. I called the Drummond location and was told they would try to reach the manager, but apparently the manager was unavailable. This was a birthday cake order and it completely ruined my plans. I ordered from Stressed but backwards specifically for this special occasion, and the lack of communication and reliability was very disappointing.

It's a shame because I really wanted to go there when I walked past. Since I'm vegan, I read the menu carefully. Thinking I ordered a PB & J bowl, they made me a smoothie! When I asked for an explanation, they told me I hadn't specified...
1. Who would call two different items on the same menu the same? 2. If there are two similarly different items on your menu, why not ask the customer which one they want instead of assuming they want the smoothie when they haven't specified.
Then I was also told that there were no more bowls left anyway.
The smoothie was good, but it was the first and last time I'd be tempted by a beautiful facade.

The smoothie was small but very good, the service was also good. The issue I have is with the cleanliness of this place. Your shoes immediately stick to the floor as you walk in, the walls and floor look like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. Is this is how dirty they keep their shop in customers eye view I can only imagine how dirty the place is behind the counter. It was gross.

Honestly, not impressed. The juices are fine, but definitely not worth the steep prices. Way too overpriced for what you get. With so many great juice spots in the city, this one just doesn’t stand out. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.
Dead inside service. Why are the workers throwing compost in the garbage? It’s 2025. EDIT TO ADD: your compost situation is valid. The city should do better in 2025 - that sucks for all of us. Thanks for the info. The one star remains because oooof, the service was bad. Like really bad. Staff working with food need to remember that your customers ingest what they touch, what they make.

I can’t speak on the quality of the smoothies, but I went to get one at 5 PM, expecting them to be open since their listed hours state they close at 6 PM. However, upon arriving, the employee turned us away stating they were closed. If the hours have changed, they should be updated on Maps to avoid confusing or disappointing customers.
