Best matcha in town!
I had a Very Positive experience eating this matcha ice cream parfait.
The Haji chai is perfect! Highly recommend it. They have free wifi and good space to work and study with your peers and enjoy their food. Loved the ice cream with macaron🤩

I recently visited Montreal's Tsujiri and was very disappointed with my experience. The drink I ordered, a matcha and a matcha latte, was extremely bitter and had a mealy texture on the palate, not reflective of the high standards of Tsujiri that I enjoyed.
When I asked the employee how the matcha was prepared, I was told that boiling water was used, because 'the higher the temperature, the better it was.' traditional practices, where water at seventy to eighty degrees is recommended to preserve delicate aromas and avoid excessive bitterness.
If you really want to enjoy the authentic flavors of matcha, I recommend buying their powder directly from the store and making it yourself at home. This will guarantee a better experience and respect for methods.
On the other hand, I do not recommend ordering drinks on site, unless they correct the way they prepare them.
Just look at the tsujiri global website (attached) to see how the preparation of the drink should be done.
If adjustments are made to improve the quality of the drinks and respect the preparation, I would be happy to remove this review and revisit the establishment.

So authentic, from the food down to the matcha.
Most places claim their matcha is authentic but Tsujiri really means it.
The drinks and dessert are delicious.
Plenty of space for indoor seating.
Staff were very nice & patient too.
I found it a bit pricey, but the quality is definitely high.

love the concept of a matcha only store, yet the matcha roll tasted like from two days ago (8$) and the normal matcha latte wasn’t it tbh. matcha frappe tho was very yummy. it’s a little crowded, but it feels like a nice little escape from montreal.

For this price, you'd atleast expect the tiramisu to actually have mascarpone in it. The cakes were dry, and there wasn't enough sweetness to the cake and tiramisu to balance out the bitterness of the matcha. ( Yes i did eat almost all of it with another friend but that is because i'm broke and can't justify throwing out something) Anyways, if you're not in the mood to throw your money on low quality dessert, avoid this place. The employees and the vibe of the place is cool though so it's a shame.
