The ramen was not very hot when it arrived, which was not enjoyable to eat half way through. I found the egg was quite overcooked and the chashu was dry. Takoyaki and kaarage was good!

I was left disappointed by the ramen as I often go to their location on Bishop, where the food is consistently 5 stars.

The appetizer and ramen were excellent (10/10), but what I did not like at all was the size of the matcha cheesecake. As you can see in the picture, the portion was extremely small, and we paid over $5 for it. In fact, it was the smallest portion I have ever been served in my life.

To be honest, that's not acceptable. I've never seen anything like it and it's bordering on rip-off territory. They cut 15-20 pieces out of what is already a small cheesecake and charge almost $100 (for the whole thing), when the cake probably costs $10 to make.

But besides that, the food was amazing.

They also changed the table layout. I liked it before more when the tables were placed around the walls.

Best ramen in town. Love the milky fatty broth, very yummy! The spicy yuzu chicken karage (yuzu Nanban) is excellent too, must try! Cozy atmosphere and friendly table service.

A great place to go for a great bowl of ramen. The environment is very nice and well curated, the menu is small and delicious, and the price point is perfect. Absolutely a place I will visit again and again.

Great appetizers and ramen. Great location. The service was ordinary. Atmosphere was quiet, maybe because we were there a bit earlier then the busy periods.

Best ramen in town for me!!!
But SO DISAPPOINTED that they changed the lay out, I really don’t like the new setting, eating at the bar was what made me feel back in Japan.. I’m actually so sad

It was okay…? We found this place through reddit reviews and thought we would be very happy but it was nothing special. Later we realised that it is a chain, so maybe look for one of a kind places for authentic ramen instead.
