Well, Got kicked off The patio at typhoon today because I had my small dog. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt of them thinking it's the law, but it only takes 10 second Google to find out, it's the restaurants decision. So I'll leave this review up until someone reaches out letting me know, they either made a mistake or just don't like dogs.

I've gone to Typhoon a few times, most recently in February on a Friday evening with friends, and the vibes were good: the music and lighting were perfect for an intimate round of pints and conversation. Prices were fair, and the draft selection was adequate. The service was quick and friendly, and overall we enjoyed ourselves.
The food was a little disappointing. While the prices and portions were fine, the quality was underwhelming.
I like Typhoon for a satisfying pint and fun times with friends, and it's a solid neighbourhood bar overall.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and the food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place. Also the kitchen is open til 1am, which is really nice.
