Awful service- went there just to get a soda, the lady repeatedly asked me to confirm I was paying with a debit card not credit card- which I was (otherwise there would have to be a $5 minimum). After the transaction was completed, she absolutely berated me and scolded me for using a “Mastercard”. I’m from the states and the card I used is just considered a debit card. While I can appreciate being frustrated- this lady should not have yelled at me the way she did, especially over such a trivial thing. Very disappointing- I could not even defend myself and just stood frozen in awe of this woman’s audacity. I finished the interaction with a meek “thank you” after she angrily handed me my soda.

25 cents? Vraiment? Evitez de visiter SVP.

Very expensive for the small portions. Poutine has no taste. And when I asked for an extra fork I was told i had to pay, even though I had just paid 23$ for a regular poutine and medium fry. Quite ridiculous. Valentine is far from what it used to be!

1 steamed hot dog, 1 small poutine (mini in my opinion), 1 fountain drink. $17.99
Fast service.
Not a lot of cheese.
3/5:
-1 star because the portion of poutine is lousy for $18.
-1 star because there isn't much cheese.

The fries look like they've been left outside overnight, and the burgers have nothing but a thin patty and a slice of cheese.

Extremely bad service, very small portion, the worst Poutine you can eat in Montreal, don't ever go there!

I don't understand who is going to spend $13 for a trio of hot dogs. $13, think about it!
2 steamed sausages, 2 breads, condiments, a fries, a liqueur. Probably a cost price of less than $2.50, we sell it to you 5 times more. It doesn't make any sense! Avoid, they need to revise their prices, it doesn't make sense how expensive it is.

I had a bad experience at the Valentine at the Eaton Center. I paid for regular poutine for my two children. When I receive my order, I ask for a 2nd fork. The woman tells me it’s $0.25, I don’t have change, I ask to pay by card. She refuses. I ask her how can I get a 2nd fork, she tells me I had to ask for it before paying. I need to make a new $5 transaction. I tell him that no one asked me how many forks I wanted. I asked for an exception, not possible. In the end, it was other customers who added my damn fork to their bill…. Thanks to them for their human side and their good judgment. No more Valentine for me…

This place could not be worse. Probably the worst experience I have ever had purchasing food. Was excited to order poutine as visiting Montreal. However, from start to finish this was an awful experience. Rude cashier and awfully small not great tasting portion for $14. I asked for an extra fork to share after this and they tried to charge me. Worst experience ever. My wife got poutine from A&W next door and it was much better and much cheaper. Save yourself and never order from here.
