I have been to this restaurant many times and the food has always been very fresh and tasty. The employees are very nice and I’m always happy to go here. The prices are also very affordable and cheap so it’s perfect for students like me.

Ugly and dirty place, the lady literally tried to charge me 10 thousand dollars instead of 70, sushis were smothered with wasabi and tasted disgusting, avocado was all brown and mushy and the sushis didn’t stay together at all, there were fish eggs everywhere, and they charge 10$ for five nigiris its a horrible place if i could give 0 stars i would, i simply cannot understand how this place is so highly rated it was the worst experience with food i have had in montreal and their “restaurant” (more like a corner store) barely had seating and no tables for four

Food is good, even tho I think I got sick the other day but can’t confirm it’s from there. The two last time I went at night service was horrible, I had to fight over a soy sauce for my dumplings. During the day the sandwiches lady’s are kind tho.

The bánh mì isn’t the best but it is at a good price for student lunches. Besides, I love that they have meatball skewers, which makes a nice addition your homemade meals.

The service is really poor. The manager, an Asian man who wears glasses, was extremely disrespectful and rude. We had a bad experience with him. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
I am a student at UQAM, not a delivery person. I use Google to warn others about dishonest people like you, so they don't go through the same experience I did. You are disrespectful and lack professionalism when it comes to service. I have visited VUA Saint-Denis several times for lunch after class, and I can confidently say the sandwich had a strange smell — that was my opinion and the opinion of my classmates. Shame on you!

I don’t recommend their banhmi and spring rolls. The bread and the filling isn’t very good. Nothing comparable to the ones I had in Vietnam😢

But in terms of price it’s not expensive. The other plates such as poke bowl, and sushi are very good.

The BBQ pork I got in the sandwich doesn't taste ok. It's like it has been in the freezer for 3+ days. I had to throw half of them away. I hope I don't get sick because I ate some.

While the manager said their meat were prepared everyday, I saw another review about getting a salad that's 6 days old 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 if you keep salad for 6 days and still selling them, I don't believe you make fresh meet everyday. Anyways, I don't recommend this place.

if you are looking for authentic or nice bánh mì, this is not the right place. The bread is not airy and too tough, and barely chewable on the ends, liver pate is way less than enough, you can barely taste the fillings as its dominated by the pickles sweetness and veggies.

Its affordable and employees are nice

no offence but a lot of better places to grab a quick bite if thats what you need....

A must in Montreal, the best banh mi. Perfect for takeaway. Excellent value for money which has been maintained over the years, it's very honest. We are always well received.
