Came in 15 minutes before close to get a pizza, didn't aknowledge my presence until 2 minutes before close and told me he was not making a pizza because they're closing. Buddy, the place still has many people sitting and had you aknowledged my presence when I walked in for my take-out, I'd already be out pizza in hand. First and last time.

Oh myyyyy goodness! As a huge fan of American-Itallian pizza I am always on the hunt for something similar tasting available locally. Until now, the search hasn’t been successful… I’ve tried the other mtl “NY” styled slice shops, and while they are good, they pale in comparison to the “real thing”. Welldun is such a gem in MTL! Welldun Pizza is a very good pizzeria in the heart of Verdun. The food is absolutely amazing, with a big variety of drinks. The Grand Ma pizza is full of good and fresh flavors, featuring good tomato sauce and very tasty spicy oil. The Detroit-style pizza is also highly recommended, especially the Detroit vodka bacon slice, which is flavorful and filling. The delightful dough tastes like a focaccia. The New York pepperoni honey burrata pizza is another favorite, being big and filling. The staff is very kind, sweet, and super polite, providing great service and heating the pizza on the spot. While the store can get very small and hot, with limited seating (maybe 4 seats), customers can take their pizza out or enjoy picnic tables outside. The ambiance on weekends can be crazy busy, but the overall experience is so good that customers will most definitely be coming back.
