Japanese vibe coffee. Music is beautiful and relaxing. Excellent service. We had two iced specials (Matcha Sakura and Hojicha Lavender), the black sesame cake, miso brownie, sencha madeleine, earl grey donut and matcha donut. We also had two hot drinks: matcha latte and hot chocolate hojicha. Everything was great, taste is delicate and refined. Highly recommend this place.

It's one of the best tea shops in Montreal. Unlike Starbucks or chain coffee shop, they take time to prepare tea, filter it, and extract properly with appropriate temperatures. The indoor environment is very cozy and clean. Staff is very friendly.

Adorable and cute coffee shop. The barista was charming and offered good advice. The attention to detail and aesthetics is incredible with pretty drinks and those slices of cake straight out of an animated film. The cakes are fresh, light, delicious and the Sakura matcha is memorable.

Very nice and minimalist coffee shop! The matcha latte and hojicha latte were very good and the matcha vegan donut was delicious! Very nice and quiet vibe to do some work or relax. The barista was very sweet and helpful. Would definitely come back!

Pretty nice minimalistic place. The matcha has bitterness masked by the milk. The donut was good ?

I wish businesses would be more conscientious about customer safety. I went there for what would have been my second visit but the front entrance had a layer of ice two inches thick, when it was a full two days AFTER the most recent snowfall. The effort to take 2 minutes to clear it off could prevent a serious injury, so this makes you wonder if they care about their customers.

Double bill! After devouring succulent sandwiches at Lucki Delite, I set out to find a café that did not offer meals. This specificity might arouse your perplexity, but the explanation is simple. I always make the effort to taste, on site, the culinary offerings of a place, whatever it may be, and I didn't have an appetite for anything too filling. For this reason, the White Heron's cute little vegan donuts and cakes were timely. Cute and quite delicious, it must be noted (but the madeleine will not go down in history). My mother was delighted when I brought it back to her, even asking for a return! With our mini wooden cabarets – the dominant ornamental theme of the place – we sat on a window sill, our feet hanging above an electric baseboard. In front of us, the two tables in the room comfortably accommodated eight to ten students discussing and finalizing their school projects. Affixed to the back wall, a large map of the world inspires us to have a deep conversation about travel while we finish drinks (including a good matcha hot chocolate) and desserts with a smile and good humor.Ultimately, the White Heron café (I know, I renamed it, but you will admit that the French translation is more graceful) is ideal for ensuring the completion of your projects and homework, especially if you have a penchant for sweets sweet.Vegetarian options: I would even say more, options for vegans: everything.Dietary restrictions: Yes, their products are not based on anything that could harm you.Parking: A few places nearby, but there are mainly residential streetsKid-friendliness: Not really, it's really more of a space for studentsWheelchair accessibility: Yes, plenty of space to move around inside, but there, with the snow...

The vibe of the cafe is japanese. The donuts n cakes are aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. As fot taste, not my type (sorry). The sakura matcha is light and not too sweet. The service is excellent. Recommend this place to those seeking for relaxing moment.

Great place for a break or catching up with friends! Drinks are good and affordable, the donuts and cake are amazing (their cakes are REALLY GOOD)…employees are also very friendly and nice. Definitely recommended! Not a place to necessarily study only as it is not a library so you should expect people to talk ☺️ (answering some of the bad reviews down there ?).
