White Heron Coffee

This place is a weird one. If I had to sum it up in two words I’d say “wasted potential”.

They sell decent beans/brewing gear and the aesthetic is really nice, but it ends up feeling like a facade that falls over pretty quickly. There is absolutely zero atmosphere and neither of the two coffees we were served were dialed in for their tasting notes.

This place honestly feels like a second wave coffee shop masquerading as a third.

The coffee here is absolutely delicious!! They use a really nice blend and the iced latte and iced matcha are 10/10! Lots of space to sit . Nice and quiet in the morning, busy in the afternoon but service is quick and the staff are friendly .

Ordered the Strawberry Shortcake online - BIG fan of this cake. It's so delicious, so airy, so light. It's not too sweet, which I love.

The cake is so moist and has a delicious flavour. The strawberries are SO fresh tasting.

The packaging and aesthetic is to die for. Worth every penny.

The staff is also very lovely, friendly and accommodating. We loved this birthday cake! Thank you White Heron Coffee!

i rlly loved the matcha here— prolly the best i’ve ever had, and this place’s ambiance is rllyy good i loved it. i just hope it was a lil closer to the metro, but overall i rlly liked this cafe!!

What a bright, clean café. The Japanese staff were quiet and polite, preparing everything fresh. The cakes are light, delicate, and not overly sweet.

Very sleek cafe. The coffee and chai are good. The chai is actually spicy. Its an ok place to work but no visible chargers and the seating isn't the most comfortable. I think the place is best for hangouts or chats and coffee. Staff is very nice and there is wifi.

That Barrista, JP was so incredibly rude to me. all I wanted was to order a coffee, the way they condescended to me and made me feel like I should be ashamed for even asking made my heart drop to my stomach. the atmosphere here is horrific, for somewhere so sterile and bare of any character the place is incredibly dirty. avoid this place, and JP at all costs, go to cafe lali down the street, the people there are so much kinder

Finally got the opportunity to try White Heron Coffee after they moved! First the all the vibe was amazing! Very aesthetic, quite enough to do some work or have a small chat! Now the food, the ube donut was delicious (not too sweet)! I had a sakura matcha, I did not like the sakura (tasted like medicine) but I tried the matcha first before mixing and it was good. I’m not big on matcha but I felt like venturing today. Definitely coming back for some coffee and cake!
Update:
Came back for some coffee and cake, it was delicious! The strawberry shortcake is very light and tasty. My iced latte was nice and refreshing. This place might become my go to coffee shop!
