I lived in China for 1.5 years and coming to this place threw me back there. This place is so genuine, and its flavors beat every pretentious competitor out there. Give this lovely couple a chance to take care of your palate. I had the Shanghai original spicy soup - tasty, comforting, and authentic. Great quality and quantity for the price. If you're super hungry, get a couple of items from the menu. It's still gonna be very cheap.
Oh, and the Chinese music...

The soup is delicious, and the chef want to redo the wonton I ordered because it is a little overcooked, but I’m fine with it, so the chef give us five dollars discount. Such a nice experience.

Best wonton I’ve ever had. Authentic Southern Chinese flavor. I sometimes drive from Toronto just for this wonton. Be prepared for long wait time though, it could be more than half an hour if they are busy.

The sticky rice shu-mai is mediocre, I suggest only ordering wonton at this place as this is their specialty.
