Amazing in everything! Love this place
Beer and food both are good but little pricey in compared to place atmosphere.
I often bike past this bar but I've never tried it until last night. It's cozy and low lit however however I wasn't happy about the fact they only take cash. Thankfully, the person I was with had cash on him. There's an ATM however you'd probably have to pay a fee. The drinks are pretty cheap so that's a plus.
Was pretty empty on a Monday night, but a welcoming barman and a chilled vibe ensured our last drink in Montreal was a memorable one. Thanks!
NB cash only, but they do have ATM.
while visiting a few weeks ago i walked into Yer Mad cause i heard great things. i ordered a beer and when i got my change back not even 2 seconds went by while i try to put my wallet back together and the bartender in front of a full bar says real loud you have to tip me before you go. everyone started looking at me. i was like of course i’m going to tip you but give me at least a second to sort my stuff out. it was ridiculously unprofessional. i shoulda just said you just lost your tip. and he had such a look of disgust, looking at me up and down. terrible customer service by that bartender.
if anything he should’ve been nice. i’m american so of course i’m going to tip. we tip way more then most countries because we are used to our tipping culture
the look of the bar was cool but the service was the worst i had my whole trip.

While passing through Quebec, I came here with a friend.
A place that doesn't look like much but it turned out to be really great.
Very cute, super adorable waitress!

Cool bar.
If it is not the dive bar par excellence in Montreal, it is certainly one of the most authentic. As soon as you walk through the door, you feel like you're entering a pirate den, skillfully hacked by a bunch of punks. But after a few minutes, we realize that we are in a neighborhood bar, frequented by friendly regulars.
The scotch flows generously, and there is always someone with whom to exchange or share a game of dominoes. It’s the kind of place you instantly adopt, and come back to again and again. Even after 20 years (this is my case).

Everything is there, arrived alone to quickly enjoy a beer before going home, returning 2 hours later!
Perfect Camille despite her youth, in charge of the service and discussions between customers who did not know each other before coming to Yer’Mad
A very good time for my first Canadian stay
See you soon

Super affordable, amazing service, cute vibes! The bartender was very friendly and accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of! Quirky eclectic vibe - went in festival clothes and felt super safe!
Unfortunately it is down a set of stairs so is not wheelchair accessible
