A lot of options are offered, and all quite tasty :) The service was excellent and waitress very kind. I would just suggest to dim the light a little to make it more cozy.

Les sushis , les plats sauter sont bons. Le service est très bon. Le seul problème c’est la salle à manger qui a de besoin de rénovations.

Anyone I have ever taken to Oplante has been impressed and turned on to vegan food. All-you-can-eat à-la-carte at $35 per person, and it's the best Pan-Asian variety and quality deal in town. For delivery with UberEats they often have a ton of BOGO deals too. If by chance you're doing Veganuary, this is a place you might want to start with. (Image from 2022 but I have eaten at or ordered from there many many many times)

Hi all,
I just want to advise everyone that while the restaurant has a decent atmosphere and the vegetarian sushi are good, the price is now not only $35 for a vegetarian sushi buffet but 2 items or on the menu (and sometimes more) and now always out of stock and have not been restocked the many times we have come to eat at the restaurant in the last couple of months, making the overall meal now seemingly more expensive. For example, Lemon Fish is on the menu but has been greyed out and we are always told it has been sold out even though we came once a month. Basic appetizer as simple as spring rolls are now always out of stock even though we were the first wave of customers for the evening... (we were the first sitting of diners coming to have supper at the restaurant for the night). For the price of $35, there is no drinks (not even fountain soft drinks) included and no desserts included in the buffet menu. And worst of all??? The entire restaurant with over 50 customers (the restaurant being basically full house) is served by a platter-bringing robot on wheels and a waitress who is also a cashier for the night? How do you feel about having a reservation and having to wait 15 minutes lined up at the front to be seated? or having to go and get your own dishes, cutlery, napkins, dishes, or even get your own pitcher of water because it is just so slow? or how about your orders have been marked as served but you had orders of food missing? This is what happened in our last visit.

So it appears while the price stays the same, there are choices of food taken out (or permanently sold out) compared to the restaurant buffet menu of a year ago or even a few months ago...

If you accept all the downsides above, it is otherwise still a good restaurant to go... the food is decent, for a vegetarian buffet... but for the price range of $30 something dollars, there may be better non-vegetarian buffet choices out there in Montreal...since the service during the last visit is poor to nonexistent.

We really liked the vegan sushi buffet! There was a good variety of delicious dishes: wonton, miso or sweet and sour soup; seaweed salad, edamame, ravioli with peanut sauce (spicy and non-spicy), gyoza, fake chicken skewer, vegetable tempura, fried fake shrimp, vegetable stir-fry, tofu, fake chicken with pineapple, fake beef with sesame, nigiri with fake tuna and salmon, vegetable sushi, sushi with fries, sushi coated with tofu skin, jalapeño sushi, pistachio sushi, pizza sushi and more. As well as sesame balls for dessert. Very good table service. The robot went back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room, then the waitress brought the dishes from the robot to our table. The service was fast. We took the time to eat in 2 hours. The decoration and furniture are also appreciated. To do again when you want a good vegan sushi buffet!

Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan!

Parking: We came early around 5:45 p.m. on Friday and we had plenty of room to park on the Sherbrooke toll street which is allowed after 5:30 p.m.

Best resto in montreal. Amazingly flavorful vegetarian food including veg sushis, fast and friendly service, 18$ all you can eat lunch.

Update: the all you can eat option is now (dec 2024) 35$ + tips + tax…

Hopefully they open this in the south shore area! We also now know to not order and eat too much fried food before receiving the sushis because you’ll get full fast!
Side note: Fried dumplings were very good!

Service hyper lent.
