Last week, I had my networking event at Yubari which was exceptional. The guests, alongside myself, loved the food and were really pleased by the drinks and the service that the staff offered during our event.
The service during the night was perfect: super attentive, kind and quick. I was also very lucky to work with Tristan, the event manager, during the planning of the event who was super responsive during our email exchanges and was super helpful in making our event a success. Big thanks to Tristan and his team for making the night run so smoothly and ensuring everything was perfect from start to finish.
Nonetheless, my guests and I were super pleased with the food, the drinks, the ambiance, and the service we were given during the planning of the event, as well as during the event itself. I had so many guests throughout and after the night tell me how much they loved the venue, the food and the drinks. If you’re planning an event, I highly recommend Yubari! After not having the best experience the first time visiting the restaurant, I was contacted directly by management in an effort to rectify the situation. Their commitment to ensuring the best possible experience for their patrons is unparalleled.
I returned this evening and a manager greeted us at the door with extreme kindness.
That trend continued throughout the evening. The apatizers were brought out and they were excellent. We ordered the spicy gyoza and tempura.
Subsequently we ordered the Yubari Blue as our main course. The presentation was incredible. It was brought out in two separate sections one of individual slices and one of Maki. From the onset the quality of the fish was stellar, additionally the accompanying wasabi was not the typical restaurant horse radish ensemble. This wasabi was clearly fresh and genuine. Following the stellar main course we transitioned to desert.
The desert of the day was a lovely cheesecake that combonied with an Amaro cocktail was the perfect swansong to this excellent meal.
Overall I can only offer my thanks and appreciation to the Yubari staff who turned what had initially been a negative and disappointing experience into one of the most memorable and excellent dining experiences of my life.

Phenomenal sushi, high quality and well prepared. Calm ambiance, dark colors with warm lighting to yield a unique dinner experience. Fantastic service, delicious sake, selection of fish includes hamachi, akami, salmon, chu-toro and o-toro, expensive price but worth the visit.

The fish quality here is amazing. All we had was nigiri. The chef's specials are amazing, I was given flambe'd waygu as one of the cheff's choices, which was good, and would say the fish options were 100x better, those was amazing. I did have an allergy and one of the staff was kind, just didn't check wifh the chef's on ingredients (it had been mislabeled on the menu). Luckily another staff member did verify for me, and fixed it, which is comforting. We got the special cheesecake for desert, and they brought it out with a sparkeler which was nice. We ended up staying quite some time, and as the night progressed the rice did get more as the fish got less on the nigiri, which was dissapointing. I will be coming here again!

Celebrated my birthday there; unfortunately the lead-up involved a lot of back-and-forth and last-minute changes to what had been agreed upon, which created unnecessary stress for something that should have been enjoyable. Even once we arrived, our group waited a long time and ended up being seated at a table right by the entrance, where people line up. They also charge $5 per person just to serve a cake; quite interesting really considering everyone had already spent hundreds per head. It’s a shame as the food itself was excellent and of good quality.
