I ordered a chicken shawarma plate with fattouch salad and rice. Thursday February 20th, 2025. The same night I had stomach discomfort and food poisoning.

I wish I had a better review for Zouki's... I bought the small chicken poutine because I had heard great things about it, but the fries were undercooked and of low quality, the sauce is very thin, probably because they're trying to cut costs and finally, the chicken was dry and uninteresting. One of the worst poutines I have ever had. I will not be back.

I have been there several times before publishing a review. Each time there was only chicken so it was impossible to have a mixed plate. Freshness levels I imagine that it all depends on the time at which I go there from one time to the next it differs. The chicken is good, the garlic sauce also the small potatoes sometimes are not fresh, the salad was ok I already have them worse.
You may wait 5-10 minutes before being served if you are the only one in line.
Overall I give it a big 3/5 they could do better.

17$ for trio , pita with small garlic potatoes. Water Bottle (NAYA!) Is 1$ extra but a soft drink is included ? Where is the logic - this is a hospital - NAYA water is 6$ for 30 bottles ... shameful.

Loved the garlic potatoes, however I wish they were more fresh, if they were fried per order it would make them by order of magnitude tastier and taste amazing. On the other hand I do not know your operations planning, you must have a reason for doing them that way.

Fast service. I like their shawarma with markouk or saj bread. Everything was good except that the quantity of meat was minimal.I find that the atmosphere is different from one branch to another.

The vegetarian food here is nothing amazing; try your best to avoid their rock hard falafels, and their horrible, pasty baklavas (they've been sitting around for a long time).
Some employees here are not super hygienic; often the same gloves they use to make your food are the same gloves they used to touch their face, their masks, and to broom or mop the floors. On top of all of this, they expect you to tip.

When I asked the owner is the food halal. He replied "Insha Allah halal".
Going to Zouki's at the Glen Site is a gamble when it comes to freshness. Some days the salads appear to be more fresh and other days they look like they've been sitting out for a few days... moreover I could not eat the food I ordered the last time I went because I watched as the guy preparing my food wore blue latex gloves as he prepared and touched my food, then touch the cash register to charge my order, then proceed to serve the next customer. Yes, all while wearing the same pair of gloves.Needless to say it was very much unsanitary and made me question the cleanliness of the restaurant as a whole.
