This is our go to restaurant when we need to celebrate our family birthday events. We went on Saturday evening and as usual it was very busy and hectic. Our server Piere-Luc was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive, kept his cool and calm even when it was very busy. He was such a gentleman too. I can't complain about the food. I am never disappointed! If you want to experience true, mouth-watering French cuisine, this is the place. We come here because of the food and top-notch service.

Leméac is a wonderful place to dine elegant, polished, and known for being very strict with their menu and dining standards, which truly shows in the quality of the food. Everything is prepared with intention, consistency, and care, making it a standout spot in Montréal’s restaurant scene.

The appetizers were a great way to begin the meal. The salmon tartare, whether with classic seasoning or truffle oil, was fresh and bright. The grilled calamari was tender and full of flavor, while the crab cake had a perfectly crisp exterior and a rich, satisfying center. The panko-crusted goat cheese was a highlight warm, creamy, and beautifully balanced with the apple and walnut salad. The vegetable and grilled sausage minestrone was hearty and comforting, packing great flavor in every spoonful.

For the main courses, Leméac continues to impress. The duck leg confit was cooked to perfection tender, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone good. The prime grilled rib eye was juicy and cooked exactly as ordered, a great choice for any steak lover. The asparagus and wild mushroom risotto was creamy, earthy, and satisfying, while the braised beef cheeks bourguignon offered deep, rich flavors that showcase true French cooking technique.

Dessert was just as memorable. The Pain Perdu was warm, soft, and indulgent, and the Crème Caramel au Café had the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee notes. The Vanilla Crème Brûlée was silky and perfectly torched, and the Pudding au Caramel was smooth and comforting, a great way to end the night.

The flavors overall were very good and surprisingly casual for such a refined setting, making the restaurant feel approachable while still luxurious. Service was excellent, quick, attentive, and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Leméac is definitely a spot worth visiting if you want a well-executed meal in a classy, welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely return.

Upscale restaurant with French classics, extensive wine menu, broad food menu, excellent service, fun and lively atmosphere. Came here on a Sunday evening with kids, there were a few other tables with kids ranging from tween to baby, most tables were couples or groups 35+. The oysters were amongst the best I've ever had, and the wine list by the glass was astounding.

Terrible experience. My daughter and I became very sick shortly after eating here. We cannot be 100% sure it was the food, but the timing was alarming and made us seriously question hygiene and food handling.

To make matters worse, the staff were completely unprofessional. They served a rare steak to my child without asking how we wanted it cooked, which is unacceptable.

We left frustrated, worried, and unhappy. We definitely won’t be coming back, and I hope the restaurant takes serious steps to improve customer service and food safety.

We tried it during MtlàTable for the first time and were delighted from start to finish. We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable (I never had to refill my glass of champagne). It was a great find, and we'll definitely be back! We had a booth at the back and it was spacious enough for us to talk without having to raise our voices. On of us took the regular menu (Filet Mignon and the Foie gras au torchon and it was delicious as well!) Well done Leméac!

Most delicious oysters I have ever eaten, very attentive, warm service, delicious mains. I had the braised beef cheeks, which were melty and served with the most fat, flavourful red chard and like a fancy tater tot. It was unpretentious and high quality. Oh! And my friend accidentally cancelled our reservation, but they seated us anyway. Just for that, they deserve full stars. Was a bit loud but not horribly so. Older crowd. Waiters were super-pro, classic, upscale types. Definitely impressed this hick lol.
