This restaurant has been newly renovated, and it feels like a lot has changed. However, recently, everything about the dumplings has changed—except the taste. They’re completely different now. Three months ago, the dumplings were clearly handmade—plump, meaty, delicious, and beautifully made. But today, I ordered three dumplings, and they were extremely small with very little filling and tasted terrible, almost as if they had been frozen for too long. I seriously suspect they’re now machine-made, mass-produced, and just passed off as handmade. The open kitchen doesn’t even show the dumplings being made fresh anymore—they look like identical copies, almost like they were 3D-printed. What's more, the price is totally unreasonable! Even the service is worse!👎

Soup dumplings didn’t have any broth in them, which is not what I expected but they tasted amazing. Service was great and atmosphere was great too, music wasn’t too loud and it was very calm and quiet for a Sunday afternoon.

We ordered the rice, general tao and peanut butter dumplings. The dumplings were okay but the rice smelled bad and the chicken tasted terrible. Never again 👎

Ordered through uber eats and I got 2 general tao chickens and chicken coriander dumplings. Chicken was solide not even eatable and it was overall terrible and the dumplings were cold

Thinnest hot and sour ive seen, no egg, no tofu, no bamboo shoots. General tao had no sauce and was mushy. So was the longbao, dense as a sausage and mushy leaky shell. Different chef as my first order probably where the tao was fluffy crispy and sauced.

Went there for lunch. There is an extensive choice of dumplings. We ordered the « randomly picked » ones along with an order of shrimp, pork and coriander dumplings. To have to pay 2$ for a little portion of peanut sauce was a surprise.
As an appetizer, we had the wonton and hot and sour soups, along with the spring rolls. The hot and sour soup was very good.
The dumplings were a tad dissapointing: despite being steamed, they were dry.
The service was correct.
You do not go there for the decor, nor the atmosphere, at least not at lunch time.
Not accessible by wheelchair.

Avoid! Had very bad food poisoning the day after grabbing their dumplings for take out last week. Judging by the other recent reviews talking about raw meat in the dumplings, they have some serious and dangerous quality control issues going on.

Without question one of the worst food experiences in a while. Can’t say enough about how miserable the experience has been at this place was.

Came in for a bite to eat and was totally delighted. I've had wanton soup, and shared two portions of dumplings with my friend - chicken mushrooms and lamb cilantro. All three dishes were by far the best of a kind I've ever had. The place was clean and cozy apart form some supplies stack around the counter. And they don't serve beer. But we came in for food and food we got - as good as it gets. Well done P23 Dumplings, kudos to the cook and to the lady who served our meals! Will be back often!
