“I recently had takeout at Sushi Shop, and overall, it was a positive experience. Here’s the breakdown:

Food Quality: The poke was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the salmon poke —it practically melted in my mouth.

Efficient Service: The staff was attentive and efficient. Orders were promptly taken, and our dishes arrived without delay.

The Missing Piece: Unfortunately, there are no customer bathrooms. It’s a minor inconvenience, but worth noting.

In summary, Sushi Shop offers great food and service, but the lack of restroom facilities is a drawback. If you’re willing to overlook that, you’ll enjoy your meal here!“

“This place literally blew me and my sister away. We just wanted to find a decent affordable sushi place on a Thursday evening, and we found THE GEM. EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS JUST A PERFECTION. It's definitely my new favorite sushi spots in Montreal.

I eat sushi pretty regularly in Asia, and it has been difficult to find sushi restaurants in Quebec that meet my standard.

Despite this, the futomaki and riceless roll were honestly some of the best I’ve had (and I've had many before in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan). I could appreciate the every single bite instead of just indulging the meal, which is not what I would expect to experience in such price range. Both the delicate texture and the complex flavor profile were completely beyond my expectation. And the chef’s specialty menu (the Dragon Dynamite), which was served at the end, was a literal chef's kiss as the name promised. The plating was top notch as well. I also tried the shrimp tempura and I can’t recommend it enough for its crispiness.

The wasabi seemed to have been diluted to fit the Montreal's spice tolerance, which was surprisingly pleasant to my taste. It was enough to bring out the wasabi's fresh flavors without being stinging.

On top of that, the staff were super friendly and the place itself is really cute with a great vibe. I’m already planning my next visit in a few days.“

“We love hidden fish , normally we order out at least twice a month but this week I decided to eat in with my gf. We went on Saturday Night, Wilson the server was great, he recommended best dishes on the menu, and his service was top of the line. We sat in the lounge area, amazing decor and ambient. “I order takeout from this restaurant almost every week. I had such a hard time finding makis or sushi similar to what I was used to eating in France and at reasonable prices.

The portions are generous and I have never been disappointed by the quality of the products.

I do not recommend eating on site because there are only a few tables located between the front door and the cash register: the majority of orders are for takeaway/delivery.“

“I was invited to this lovely place for a business lunch and it is a peaceful haven as well as delicious. What my colleague told me is that Sush is one of the few places that has survived all the crises of recent years and has never closed!
This proves that they make good food and that the service is excellent. I would add that the place is incredibly quiet.
They don't need my recommendation, but I still recommend :)

Being from Toronto and trying all the different Japanese restaurants there, his selection of speciality dishes was beyond my expectations. Great experience and great quality food. “Wow, this was my first time ordering from this sushi place, and I was super happy with my meal.

Everything was super fresh and full of flavor.

I went with the mixed 36 pieces, which had a combo of futomakis, nigiris, and hosomakis. They also threw in 6 extra pieces for free, so I ended up with 42 pieces of sushi.

I also got 8 pieces of avocado maki (#H3), and the avocado was so creamy and soft.

I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting, so I had the leftovers the next day at room temp, and it was just as good as the night before.

You won’t be disappointed with the sushi here.

P.S. If you’re ordering for delivery on Uber Eats, make sure to request chopsticks; otherwise, you won’t receive them! I ordered twice from here, and both times, they weren’t included.“

“I ordered online and let me tell you! The packaging was absolutely gorgeous. The food on another level. Wow, the sashimi was second to none, their makis so perfectly rolled and cut and the fish as fresh as it gets. They have amazing hot food as well. Their wagyu dumplings DELICIOUS! And their crispy taquitos with the salmon tartar... foodgasm!

“I only eat Sushi there. I love Sushi and can be out of town for months and still not order until I can come to Souping Sushi. Ive Done the Ultimate Sushi Tasting Test and tried the exact same Sushi but bought at different places and they definitely have the best here.

Furthermore I always ask to replace the soy sauce for 1x Waifu and they will do it, no questions asked. Other places will charge me 2$. How can I spend 50$ for 4 Rolls and you have the audacity to ask me to pay for a mini cup of sauce while I relinquish all the Soy Sauce Cups?
