Disappointed with the carte blanche tasting menu at $75 per person, $40 for children (the only option offered). I was expecting an a la carte menu. It is for this reason that I allow myself to write here because the previous opinions do not seem to reflect the change of guard and the new menu (I write in August 2023).Total before taxes and service: $350. 2 adults, 2 children, 4 x glasses of wine, 4 x lemonades.Service friendly and very attentive, but slow and spotty. Nice wine list. Wine offered by the waiter was very good. The first course (Island scallops) was to my liking, but there was an astringent element that I felt was out of place and the pickled carrots (pickle) detracted from the fine taste of the ceviche scallops. The carrots from the gardens were succulent and delicately processed. Fish dish was fine. Marinated zucchini (pickle bis) and halibut listed on the menu replaced by gravlax-style char ? (and we won't know if it was arctic char or fountain because for the people in the kitchen it's the same thing… Char). Perfect dish of pudding and chanterelles! ? We still doubt that it was haskaps as an accompaniment (this is what we were presented with) because it was round like a ball (blackcurrant?). Cheese dish (supplement) delicious, but proposal, poutine style with spleen potatoes with poultry juice sauce, disappointing, because of the foam-liquid texture of the cheese that is difficult to taste. I really liked the tomato sorbet dessert. Bold and well-balanced dish, but which with its flowers reminiscent of oregano, looked a little too much like cold pizza for the taste of my spouse and my children ?In short, ups and downs.Suggestions:- More flexibility for the children's menu- Picnic basket filled with local food, blanket to lie on the grass, and bring everything back at the end of the activity.

This restaurant is very good and gastronomic. The portions are somewhat small but the taste is delicious. The time it takes to have the meal is quite long but the service is good.

It’s one of the best restaurants and meals I’ve tasted by far. Sad that the chef is leaving the restaurant but wishes him the best in his new endeavours. He transformed simple ingredients into masterpiece.

Culinary joy in the middle of the gardens in a historic building. Everything was good and sought after. We integrate local products (including edible flowers) with taste and finesse. The desserts are among the best ever tasted. Service a bit overpriced but still pleasant. To have.

great food, nice people, wonderful location with very nice gardens. Highly recommended for all collective events (marriages, conference dinners,....)

Refined and sought-after dishes that perfectly highlight local products in an enchanting setting. Service is spotty and extremely slow, but friendly. Exceptional lambs. "Old cow" to avoid because there is indeed the tenderness of an old camel. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't be satisfied with the bistro at the entrance to the garden.

Fine dining and an award-winning chef that I appreciate on every visit to the gardens.

Very good culinary experience using heirloom vegetables from the Métis gardens.
