From the second we walked in to the moment we left we were greeted with exceptional service. The member who greeted us went as far as to remember all of the guests names prior to arriving as they greeted me by my first name. We don’t speak French but they go beyond to explain Elam the dishes in English. Now, the food quality… I wish I went to ARVI last… we enjoyed 4 Michelin restaurants but everything paled in comparison. Worth your money.

We had a fantastic meal at ARVI. High quality food made from local and in season ingredients and excellent wine pairings. It's also quite the show in an open kitchen with every chef sharing all responbilities, both FOH and BOH.
This was a wonderful dining experience. The servers/chefs are so nice and welcoming. The food was delicious. Inventive and well-executed. We had 1 of the meat tasting menu and 1 of the vegetable tasting menu so we could try it all. Both were great. We also had a couple drinks that were very tasty, including one left to the discretion of our server/chef/mixologist :)

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience for us. Bland and tasteless food. Ordinary wine food pairing. The dishes lacked generosity, we added oysters and foie gras to the tasting menu and that was lucky because that would not have been enough. On the other hand, the foie gras was exceptional. Very good service, but this restaurant, the evening we went there, did not reflect the positive comments nor the title of best restaurant in Canada.

Very disappointed with my experience at Arvi, I wanted to go there for a long time but big disappointment. Although the service was excellent, the food was bland…and no wow factor in the tasting menu. The eggplant dish was the most disappointing. The only wow I had was for the foie gras that we had as an extra, and which was not in the tasting menu. Few interesting choices of cocktails on the menu also for the aperitif. In short, unfortunately I do not recommend this restaurant which seems overrated to me if I rely on the reviews I read before going there. For the same price or even less, I have had excellent meals in other restaurants in Quebec.
