Merci Ciel Bistro-Bar! Je recommande vivement ce restaurant ☺️

To the attention of the management of the Au Ciel Exceptionnel restaurant,

I would like to highlight the excellent work of Marilou at reception. From the moment we arrived, his warm smile and professional attitude created a memorable first impression. She has a natural talent for putting guests at ease while efficiently managing reservations and arrival flow.

Marilou stands out for her attention to detail, her attentive listening and her ability to respond to customer needs with great courtesy. His knowledge of the menu and his collaboration with the front of house team demonstrate his commitment to providing an exceptional experience to each visitor.

It is undoubtedly a valuable asset for your establishment, helping to strengthen its reputation for excellence. I would happily recommend Marilou for any role in hospitality, as she perfectly embodies the values of quality customer service.

Thanks again to Marilou for her remarkable welcome.

Great restaurant. Gastronomic, but not stingy in the portions, just what is needed. In addition, the dishes are healthy and balanced. There is something for everyone. I don't give 5/5 for the cuisine, because in my experience, everything was very good, but one of the dishes was not advanced enough in terms of taste. The service was top notch. Very warm and respectful waiters, but not intrusive, which is essential for having a good time. The view is superb and it took 1h30 to completely go around. Cleanliness is also very good. We paid around $25 for a starter, $45 for a main course and between $8 and $12 for an alcoholic drink such as a cocktail. We will definitely return, it’s an address to have in your diary for special moments.

Second time we come, the first time was in January 2023, then today. Each time it was a beautiful experience, culinary and visual with the panoramic view throughout the meal.
The service is courteous and warm, the dishes are delicious and balanced.
A must-see if you are in Quebec City!

Terrific, magnificent...
Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful time. We came on Sunday for my girlfriend's birthday, for an excellent brunch. Thanks to Cédric for his kindness and his flawless service, thanks to the kitchen team and congratulations for the salmon, the duck confit crepe...a delight. Thanks to the bar team, the cocktails are delicious and refreshing. For sure, we'll be back soon.

The Le Ciel de Québec restaurant offers a unique gastronomic experience thanks to its exceptional panoramic view which rotates slowly, allowing you to admire the city from all its angles. The menu is refined, with a great emphasis on local products, and the service is attentive and warm. However, some dishes could gain in originality or intensity of flavors to match the visual experience. Despite this small downside, it is an ideal address for a romantic evening or a special occasion. A memorable experience that deserves a 4-star rating!

The service was good. Although we reserved a table for 8:30 p.m., we called at 7:30 p.m., and were told the table was already ready, which was much appreciated. Our server was prompt, and all dishes were served quickly.

parking: Despite a reservation for a prestige room and dinner on site, there was no parking available that evening. It was raining, and the ground was icy. We had to park the car 7 minutes' walk away, which was not pleasant, especially in these conditions.

Meal: As a starter, we had the soup of the day: cream of carrots. Nothing to complain about, she was good.
My husband ordered the Venison Jig with wild pepper carrot puree, market vegetables and black garlic sauce. This dish was tasty, and the meat was very tender.
For my part, I chose the Roasted Shoulder of Lamb with white bean ragout, tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted panko, marinated cauliflower and gremolata. Unfortunately, my dish contained a lot of fat and very little edible meat. I would say that barely 50% was real meat, and it was not tender, unlike my husband's venison.
For dessert, we had a chocolate brownie to share. In our opinion it was way too sweet and heavy. We didn't manage to finish it.

Ambiance: We were hoping to enjoy the view, but with the rain and fog, this was not possible.

For an evening that cost us over $200 (including tip), we expected a much better experience.
