This is the second time I have come to Eggsquis Vanier and both times I received the toast so cold that the butter was not melted on the toast plus I had to turn my plate over because the eggs were cold and we didn't even have a coffee stove

First thing my lunch was cold second thing when cutting onions and after cutting fruit it is important to wash the knives or take another one if you are not sure about washing knives it avoids the fruit from
tasted the onions, it’s really not my taste.

I love this breakfast restaurant chain. In Vanier, the waiting time, quality and speed of service depend on the time you arrive. The service staff are friendly, except for one waitress whose name I will not mention, who is really very stupid and who gives orders in a curt and hasty manner to her colleagues, in front of the customers. I also observe that other waitresses and hostesses communicate near the tables, while the customers can hear them very well, their moods about the workload, the number of customers and the fact that they are overwhelmed. Some even openly tell customers that they are overwhelmed, that they are the only ones to serve, that they have too many customers when they contact them with requests. I also wonder about the hygiene and safety practices of the waitresses who take care of the toast: we see them touching a computer screen full of bacteria and/or handling money to make customers pay and then handling the bread without first washing your hands or taking the time to put on gloves. Finally, the temperature of the dishes is not always adequate and the portions are not always equal. In short, my experience varies greatly from one visit to another. I always manage to avoid being served by M. by asking the hostesses to be seated in a section other than hers when she is on duty.

The taste was perfect however I have a problem with the portions, before a smoked meat sandwich was more than 2 cm thick. Given the price in restaurants these days unfortunately I am not satisfied with the smoked meat sandwich in terms of the quantity of meat in the sandwich.

I go to this place pretty often and I usually enjoy it very much. When I go, I usually leave about 18% tip. However, the last time I went, I had a 25$ gift card. After the meal I went to pay and when asked for the tip, I said 20% As I was about to tap my card, the cashier hurriedly moved the machine away from my card and asked if I was giving 20% of the whole amount or of the balance after the gift card. I said of the balance cause I was in a rush and just wanted to tap and leave. She ignored me, insisted it would be quick, cancelled the transaction, and proceeded to use her phone calculator to get 20% of the whole amount. Felt very unprofessional and greedy and kind of ruined my opinion of this place. Don't like feeling leeched for tips

Déçu de resto. La nourriture n’est pas fameuse. Le service est très médiocre. On est rester à l’entrée pendant une dizaine de minutes personne n’est venu nous voir. J’ai du arrêter une serveuse pour demander si on prends place ou non pour quelle me dise « on va venir vous voir dans pas longtemps » par contre le rapport qualité prix est correcte.
