We really love Indian food so the idea of fusion option seemed appealing. We were visiting Quebec City and saw the restaurant received some good reviews so we were excited to dine here. Unfortunately, our party of 4 left deeply disappointed due to service issues and food not being all that great. This was for a very special birthday (which I noted in our online reservation notes ) so I felt extra disappointed. I wouldn’t say this is really Indian food so be prepared for something much more fusion like.
It’s possible a language barrier was part of our issue but it was hard to order and we tried to ask questions about the dishes but didn’t get much information. For example, two people in our party ordered the tikki chicken but all you get is two pieces of chicken. You have to order rice and anything else you want separately (but the waitress didn’t mention this ). We also found it odd there was no drink menu at all. In general our waitress was unfriendly and very inattentive.
We finally ordered a few snacks and main dishes and they all came to the table at once - except one person in our party didn’t get their dish at all. We waited another 15 mins for it to arrive. We asked about the status of the dish with our waitress and she didn’t seem to care at all. I ordered the tandoori cauliflower and it wasn’t fully cooked as well as the eggplant dish which came with rice crackers but it wasn’t clear how they both went together. The papadum we ordered was actually quite spicy but the menu doesn’t indicate it would be I like spice - but it was too much for me.
I had high hopes for this restaurant because of the positive review- but my experience left much to be desired, both in terms of service and the food we finally got. Perhaps the tasting menu would be the way to go but ordering Individual dishes wasn’t great. Our meal came to $200 for only a few dishes and I wouldn’t say it was good value at all.
I would not recommend this restaurant - it was one of the most disappointing meals and service I’ve had in the last few years. It was for a birthday which made it that much more disappointing for us.

Extraordinary evening at Kundah, for the second time... Original and delicious cocktails, varied dishes and all succulent - Indian cuisine reinterpreted with local products, and it works very well! The dishes are generous and varied, presented with charm. The service is super friendly, all the employees took the time to talk to us, explain the choices, describe the dishes... The atmosphere is great - warm decor, festive atmosphere (noisy, but not too much) and relaxed.
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options, and there is even the possibility of having a vegetarian version of the tasting menu - hearty and succulent!
