Excellent food, lovely ambiance, and charming service. Their blind tasting menu was a great value, each dish was impeccably prepared and sauced. The decor was unique and tasteful, and the interior had plenty of different and unique seating options depending on your vibe.
The food was absolutely outstanding and the service flawless. A true hidden gem that should not be missed when visiting Québec City. Sitting at the open kitchen bar elevated the entire experience, watching the seamless coordination of the team, their meticulous attention to cleanliness, and their commitment to quality and freshness was captivating. Every detail reflected passion and excellence. An exceptional and truly memorable dining experience, and without a doubt, it will be on our list for our next visit to the city.

I live in NY and this was a top 3 food experience for me. The duck was tender and skin was crispy. Squash appetizer is a must get. Sat at the kitchen table, and would recommend everyone have that experience.

Service et bouffe tout simplement extraordinaire. Petit extra, le spectacle d'une cuisine agréable où l'équipe travaille dans la bonne humeur si vous êtes placés au comptoir cuisine.
We did the blind tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed every dish as well as the overall experience. The servers were enthusiastic about the dishes, attentive, and friendly.
Great service and flavourful food. Atmosphere is great and easy to talk through. Highly recommend the carrot cat, probably the best I've ever had.

Our waitress was amazing and so was our food. Definitely one of my favorite salmon dishes I ever had. And the oysters were perfect too. The place is beautiful as well and everything is very high quality.

Overall we enjoyed our evening and waiters were friendly. Fairly short menu. However, some dishes (like the beef) were just uninspired and bland. We did really like the salmon. Finally, had to ding them for the very slow food service (one quick starter and then molasses).

We visited for their $80 for 2 people blind tasting menu. I was thinking it would be hard to go wrong for that price, but they managed to prove me wrong.
The food itself was decent, with some very good dishes. The appetizers were head cheese and hummus. Both were decent, nothing to complain about.
Next came the eggplant croquette? and the beef tartare. The eggplant dish was excellent, the tartare was good and fresh but again, very basic and traditional.
The entree, the fish was the star of the show. Honestly, one of the best fish dishes I’ve eaten. So based off this it seems like there’s nothing wrong.
But let’s get to the negatives which unfortunately overshadowed the food.
1. Service was choppy. They brought the starters but forgot to bring out the bread, so we’re just sitting there for 5 minutes before they realized.
2. A bunch of very small service issues. By itself it’s very minor, but they add up. The oyster didn’t come with the pineapple salsa/sauce, the took away cutlery and never brought new ones (was only left with a fork), and the timing of the food and checkups were sporadic.
3. They got busy and service slipped. After we got our appetizers, we probably waited 30-40 minutes for our entree and only got checked up on once. It then took an additional hour to get the dessert (which we took to go because we had other plans) and had to lineup to pay the bill. In between this time, we only got checked up once again. No apologies about the slow service or heads up that the kitchen was behind or slow.
I’m happy the restaurant is busy on a Wednesday, but honestly it’s some of the worst service I’ve experienced. We arrived around 5:40 pm and it was maybe a 1/4 full and didn’t leave until 8 pm, and the majority of the time was simply waiting for the entree and dessert.
With all that being said, the bottleneck seemed to be the kitchen, but nothing was done to appease the guests. With there being so many great restaurants, I can’t recommend coming here, at least for their blind tasting.

Nous avons pris le menu surprise : des plats originaux, bien équilibrés et savoureux. Le personnel était attentif et très sympathique. Une belle adresse à découvrir.

The food was great, we had a wonderful time sitting at the bar. The service was amazing and the bartender really had a wealth of knowledge regarding the menu and was an expert at making off menu cocktails on request. An overall great experience.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We came on a Tuesday for the secret supper and enjoyed not having to choose. But, after that visit I would come back for the food any night because of how delicious it was! Everything we had showed thoughtfulness and top notch quality. Don’t miss this place.

This restaurant is a sample of Quebec City cuisine. Every time, they go above my expectations. The food is fantastic, the drinks are some of the best in the city, and the wine list has everything you could want! It really shows that the staff care deeply about this place—the service is perfect. I could never recommend this restaurant enough. :)
