We were so excited for this place since it had great reviews and was at Relais and Chateāux property. They seated us in this lovely little corner next to a fireplace, but then forgot us basically. After about 45 minutes I went to find someone to take our drink order. After a while they brought us a cocktail and nothing else for basically an hour. Finally after about an hour and 15 minutes and after 3 different servers peaked around the corner looking at our table wondering why we were sitting there one of them came up to us and took our order and brought some water. Then another 45ish minutes go by and still no food and finally another waitress comes up to us and apologizes saying the food was on the way and that they had miscommunications about who was serving us. She quickly brings us a charcuterie platter and a complimentary glass of red wine she asked if we wanted desert when we haven't even had our entree, just complete confusion at this place at all levels. No one there seemed to have any idea what was going on. We finally got our food about 2 hours after we got there. I will say our cocktail, the wine, and the food was excellent. The service was very subpar. Alyssa did her absolute best to salvage it after she found out what was happening and she is the sole reason that the restaurant is getting 3 stars and service 2 stars. She even provided us with a cool spot to go to for an after dinner drink. We thank her for the great service and hospitality, but everyone else there needs to get their act together. We always look for the Relais and Chateāux symbol because it's normally a standard of excellence no matter where in the world you are. Bar Artefact doesn't meet that standard based on our visit.

Absolutely amazing bar. We sat by the fireplace, read books and had the best hot chocolate and scones. Can't recommend this place enough! What a gem!

Went for afternoon tea to try something different. Food was good but the service wasn’t as good. We are not tea drinker and we were asking the server to help us pick the best tea based on our preference and they honestly had no clue; they were just reading us the menu. Then the tea arrived and they didn’t tell us how many minutes we had to wait before drinking it. The teas were not really good; but that might just be because we pretty much ended up picking them up randomly since server failed to make recommendations.

It was $45 per person. Which would have been OK if the teas were good.

Service was super slow and the staff were disorganized and taking it too easy while in a what seemed to be a busy time
We came for cocktails - had one round w oysters - that was great. Cancelled our second cocktail bc service was too slow. We sat there watching servers just chatting away behind the bar. Our server was sweet and was just helping out - felt bad for her. We were likely their easiest table given we didn’t eat dinner.

The bar itself is beautiful within the also beautiful auberge st Antoine.

Two great experiences in this bar! Digestives with friends with a nice selection of scotch 🥃
The second time over coffee ☕️
Friendly atmosphere.
Only downside: they don't know how to make hot chocolate!

Very disappointing. We ordered two cod. One of them was clearly not cooked. The vegetables served on our plate were clearly insufficient. You have a mini mini carrot 3 inches long by a quarter inch thick. What a disappointment for $250

Vegetarian options: Nothing gluten free

Average for the place. The wine arrived after the meal. The cod was not cooked enough. Damage.

This is a very busy bar restaurant and the servers perform many jobs, but all that aside they managed to arrange a perfect dinner for me. In am vegan and no oil, Because of a heart issue. They were so accommodating. Elissa really helped us out. We had a delicious meal and stay at the hotel
.

Vegetarian options: I’m vegan and cannot have oil. They made me a farro dish with veggies that was delicious.

We had a pleasant time at the restaurant. The dishes were delicious and the cocktails really excellent. The decoration is also very pretty and original, which adds a lot of charm to the place.

However, we encountered some difficulties with the service. Although the restaurant was not busy that day, the service was very slow. The waitress rarely came to see us, which limited our consumption.

Also, since the tables were very close to each other, privacy was somewhat reduced. And neighbors can easily join in on each other's conversations.

Had dinner there one evening. Terrible service, we had to ask many times for our food, no water, drinks took ages. Staff was running around with no coordination or communication (and it wasn’t even busy), it was painful to watch. They seriously need to invest in hiring experienced staff and managers, the whole thing seemed run by amateurs.

Was looking forward to this bar as we were staying at the hotel but had an awful experience and terrible service. Came in for drinks early evening; we were seated immediately at a comfortable table and a server took our drinks order. And then we were forgotten. No cocktails, no water—after every table around us received their orders, I finally asked a server who told me first they were “a little busy,” then quickly “we don’t serve that table.” What?? We got up to leave after waiting nearly 30 mins. Manager came out to apologize while we were waiting for Uber to dinner but the server continued to make up excuses—in front of us—to try to avoid getting in trouble. Just apologize and move on. This experience soured our entire stay at the hotel, which was otherwise very pleasant.

We had the most delightful lunch at the Artifact Bar and Grill. The Icelandic Cod dish with seasonal vegetables was delicious. Everything was excellent but even more so because of Emily our waitress. She took particular care in making sure we were happy with our tea selection. That may sound like a funny thing but my husband has specific taste where his tea is concerned and Emily Wall was a dear to make sure to get it prepared the way he liked it. That kind of service was very much appreciated and Emily was and is excellent with her customers. We highly recommend the Artifact Bar and Grill and when you’re there ask for Emily. :-)

We make a point of eating at Bar Artefact every time we stay at the Auberge Saint-Antoine. The food has always been excellent, the staff pleasant and efficient, and we love the atmosphere.
