We were served by Maelle this evening, the service was incredible! She is a very very pretty young waitress at Blaxton and dances like a goddess behind her bar when she prepares our cocktails! I highly recommend going to see her at the bar!

What I am no longer able to tolerate, and the reason why I am going to change bars from now on, is the incessant gossip between the waitresses, often hidden at the back of the bar muttering without paying attention to either the bar's customers or the refill. of beer. Having to get their attention every time you want to order another beer becomes annoying and ridiculous. You are at your workplace, do your job! You will go chat at Starbucks on your days off!

A nice bar. We had some poutine, some wings and some wine. We even got a little wine just to decide which to take. However music was quite loud inside and it was hard to understand each other even if there were not as many people.

Blaxton is one of my favorite restaurants. I eat very well, attentive service. I often take the plate of flank steak (it is always excellent) and for some obscure reason the dish is now served with fries (or potatoes) ONLY, there are no more vegetables. I find this very disappointing. Something is missing from the plate. It's not what costs the most on the plate, the two or 3 vegetables that were there.

It was delicious! Everything was good, we had a Cosmopolitan and a Rum&Coke to start, the atmosphere was good and the waitress was friendly. I had the Smoked Salmon Crostini and the Tacos as my main meal and my partner had the New York Steak. My meal was tasty, fresh, perfect portions. My partner loved his Steak, the crust was perfect, the cooking superb and the homemade fries delicious. We finished with the Layered Brownie. Very good, the middle layer had a surprising little crunch but it wasn't served hot and so it was a little stiff to cut. A singer was present and gave a lot of atmosphere. On the other hand, during the meal, more than 20 young students arrived and sat behind us. They were overall respectful but the noise level was so high that we had difficulty hearing each other. For a total of $113 taxes included, we are really very satisfied!

Couples evening, we come from Gatineau. Honestly one of the best restaurants we have visited in a long time. My steak was perfectly cooked, the home fries excellent and the dessert decadent.
It's out of the restaurant's control but the only problem was a large university group that arrived and was very noisy. The other tables next to us were of the same opinion.
So excellent food but you have to accept that it is noisy.
