I love carrot cake, but theirs was both too hard on the inside and slimy on the surfaces. And the taste had nothing to make up for the texture. This is the first piece of cake that I haven't finished in my life. My heart lifts just thinking about it. At least my son enjoyed his sundae. A $30 that would have been better invested if I had cleaned it out.

Restaurant tested on a Saturday evening at 7:45 p.m.I was the only customer while all the other establishments were full.....The service and welcome were correct, the waitress was friendly and smiling.I ordered a chicken poutine served quickly luckily...The dish was rather bland, the fries were not sufficiently cooked and I found a hair on the plate.They turned away customers at 8:10 p.m. on a Saturday evening saying they had closed everything in the kitchen.Prices are average.In short, a rather average restaurant and visibly frowned upon by customers.

Second time in Quebec walking around and found this place we thought would be a nice spot, we were wrong, the food was horrible I had just a taste and couldn’t eat it, before all that we tried asking one of the servers a question and she was rude. And after we finished they were like demanding tip saying it’s not including in the additional price after 4 person didn’t like the food.this place don’t deserve not even one star rating

We visited Café Baude for dinner to go last night and again for breakfast this morning. Excellent service for both visits. We had regular poutine, the fried chicken poutine, & turnip soup last night and all were very good. This morning we had 2 of the breakfast specials and everything was very tasty. The servers were very friendly even though we do not speak French very well (or at all really). Would definitely recommend!

Notre serveur a eu un malaise, laissant une seule serveuse pour s'occuper de la salle pleine. Malgré cela, elle a gardé son sang-froid et nous a offert un service exceptionnel ! Toute l'équipe est restée calme et a poursuivi la soirée sans encombre. La nourriture est délicieuse, clairement faite maison ! Je recommande vivement le poulet général Tao, et le brownie en dessert était absolument délicieux. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et accueillante. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour cette belle soirée!

Excellent food, service, and music! We had the Poutine to go last night and it was great! We came back for breakfast and ordered the Samuel de Champlain and the Brunch Baude. The order came out pretty quick and the food is awesome! I don't know why this place has such low reviews. I can imagine it's not great for large parties just because of the set up (fixed booths).

LOTS of food very filling. They were able to seat and serve 9 people without a reservation food took less then 15 minutes to be served after being seated. Nickolas our server was so kind and attentive he came out with a smile everytime and a cheerful tune while delivering our food if I am ever in Quebec city again I will 100% be returning and hopeful to see Nickolas once again thank you for making my family's lunch an amazing expirenceKid-friendliness: Kids get a free dessert the ice-cream was great!
