So disappointing, obviously if you’re a senior single female diner the staff believe that plonking plates in front of you without a word and serving interesting food that is overwhelmed with too many flavours is how to run a restaurant. Very surprised when I refused to tip … I expect some modicum of service before tipping, just because you showed up for work isn’t a reason to tip!

This little restaurant is a real find. The menu is very distinctive and the wine list is definitely original. We had the charcuterie board which presented local pâtés and cheeses, all so very tasty. We then had the gnocchi: the best we had ever tasted! So full of flavour. The first wine we enjoyed was a red wine from Gaillac in France and the second was from northern Spain. They were very different and complemented our food fully. The wine list was created by the manager and it carries wines from little known regions, ready to be discovered. Finally, the service was very attentive and friendly.

Very small bistro attached to e'Chaude. Very small menu with exquisite attention to detail in every dish. Really fabulous meat and cheese board, perfection. A lovely pappardelle, with or without truffle. Perfect preparation. Open kitchen, try sitting at the bar. Make a reservation and go!

Reservation highly recommended, food is very good!

I really like this place! The small menu really makes them really focus on what they are good at. Very knowledgeable staff and the restaurant is slightly out of the busiest area so it isn't too touristy. Definitely recommend!
We wandered into this cozy restaurant based on a local's suggestion and oh boy were we glad we did! I had the seafood pasta which was a perfect blend of vegetables, pasta, broth and the seafood. My sisters shared their dishes as well. Go - give yourself a once in a blue moon ex

We just happened upon this lovely neighborhood restaurant in Quebec. We had one of the best meals here and loved every bite of our dinner.

Food and service excellent. Small menu and unpretentious surroundings. Freshly prepared food. We had been knocked back from the one third full place next door and what a huge favour that was! Give Echo Buvette a go and be pleasantly surprised.

A nice little place with very interesting small dishes to sample and great wine list! Great with friends out for a drink. I agree the cheese and charcuterie are great starters to complement the wine tasting.

It is a small place (20-25 seats?). The service was good. It’s small plates. We had the cheese & charcuterie combo as an app. Very good. All local cheeses and meats. We had 4 of the 6 small plates. All were good. The bison tartare was really good. Croque monsiuer and the duck breast as well. The “broth” plate with elk sausage was good, not my wife’s thing though. Four plates was enough to fill us both up. The meal was nicely slow. The small plates came two at a time, with a bit of time in between. We enjoyed our nice Quebecois white wine and conversation. And the peace and quiet. The waiter was hustling. But he was very professional and personable. A nice meal in a nice place. Relaxing.
