1 of the best Mexican food I've ever had and the server was great too.

Basic menu but really delicious food - beef quaesadilla was top notch. Drink menu had your classic margaritas including the “Deer & Beer” (Sol and a Margarita) which was a delight. Everything ordered came promptly, server was very nice guy, quick and observant. Solid music if you’re into 80s jams, lovely outside patio in the back.

There’s this one bartender with a bandanna who loves Boston and he is the goat. Best bartender ever.
Fresh ingredients and great staff. Pescado burrito was one of the best I’ve had!

Deux22 is a wonderful Mexican restaurant in Québec City. I went there several times, and each time the staff treated me well and served delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was okay, the atmosphere was really good. The server kept asking for more tips, which can be annoying. It made us feel cheap even after we paid a 12$ tip.

⭐ 1/5 - Avoid Deux22 at all costs. My dinner at this Mexican restaurant in Quebec City was an absolute disaster. The food was utterly tasteless. The tofu tacos and burrito featured rubbery, chewy tofu that was borderline inedible. The fish tacos tasted stale, like they’d been sitting out for days. The veggie nachos were a soggy mess, drowning in cheese with no other discernible flavors and zero crispiness. Service was atrocious—our food took over 25 minutes to arrive, with no apology or explanation. To top it all off, they forcefully demanded a minimum 15% tip, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu or at ordering. I’m fine tipping for good service, but being strong-armed into it after such a dreadful experience is insulting. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

OMG their nachos are just amazing and their guac is just to the point. Their tacos were okayish may be because I picked the wrong sauce but still I did not like their tofu as there were big piece of tofu in the tacos.

I recently visited Deux22 with my coworkers while in Quebec City, and it was an incredible experience! I had the beef quesadillas, and they were quite possibly the best quesadillas I've ever had—perfectly seasoned, with tender beef and melty cheese.
We were a group of 12, and despite calling only a few hours before on a busy Saturday night, they were able to accommodate us, which we greatly appreciated. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was attentive even with our large group.
Last year, I also had the chance to visit Julio Taqueria with coworkers, another amazing Mexican restaurant in Quebec City. While they weren’t able to take reservations for us this time, I’d highly recommend both restaurants for their fantastic food and unique dining experiences.
If you're in the mood for Mexican food, Deux22 is a must-try. The quesadillas alone will have me coming back next time I’m in town! 🌮🌟

Mexican in a lively atmosphere!!
On the menu: nachos, tacos, quesadillas and Mexican dishes
The terrace is heated, which makes it a warm and intimate little cocoon. Around the bar, the atmosphere is livelier. Moreover, the restaurant is well located for going to the bars on Saint-Joseph afterwards.
We had a great experience and very good service.

The food was fantastic, and our server was both helpful and friendly. Only complaints would be that the music was obnoxiously loud, and the tables and plates were a bit too small.
