“DELICIOUS!!! I don't understand the bad comments either. Probably people who don't know Indian cuisine. I tried all the Indian restaurants in Quebec and a few in Montreal. Several are good (others meh) but the Curry Doré is a cut above them all. Lamb is the most tender and delicate of all places. Often this meat is stiff and dry in some bring your own wine restaurants. Delicious chicken and shrimp too! Spice blends always just right. And yes! They use cinnamon sticks and it's not dangerous like I read in a stupid review! 😅The service is always excellent: almost always one of the owners: always there at the right time without being too tiring! Atmosphere I didn't give 5 stars because it's just ok - nothing special. And I add that it is very clean: dining room and bathroom. Long live Golden Curry! Thank you for existing and allowing us to eat delicious meals without breaking the bank and also being able to bring our wine! You really have to be a hater to criticize this place negatively!“

“I do not understand the bad reviews. My spouse is Indian. We tried every Indian restaurant in Quebec city and this one is by far the best one. They can adjust the de level of spiciness and all the vegetarian dishes taste different. The price is super good. For vegetarians, excellent choice.“

“Grabbed some take out late on a Friday. The server was extremely friendly and willing to help me pick a couple of vegan items off of the English menu because my French is “pas bon”.

Samosas and pakoras were spectacular. Good level of spice on the other dishes.“
