It could be such a cool place and food is great but the experiance over all was disappointing.
We travel alot around Canada with our three kids and so far we were generally treated well, not here though. The waitress was very unfriendly and since she was much friendlier to the three women sitting next to us I assume the rudeness was because of our kids.
Also, We asked for some fried eggs and toast for the kids (there are dishes on the menu with eggs so they do have them) but that was not possible - very unflexible. Also I ordered a Cappuccino, but I was given a flat white. I suspect they don‘t know the difference. Also music und was so loud that we could hardly talk. Also, food took rather long to arrive. Overall not very pleasent, pics and reviews promised more.

If you do not speak French I would not recommend going there
After we got seated we had to wait at least 30 minutes for someone to take the order. And then the waitress was grumpy/in a bad mood. (I can only assume it was because we do not speak French)

Really disappointing

In 2024, it is surprising to see that a restaurant only offers one vegan dish, and even then, without proteins. When I mentioned that I had heard of their vegan options, I was told in a condescending manner that "not all of our dishes are vegan." The dish was half empty, consisting of bean sprouts with cabbage, some root vegetables and a mix of herbs, including cilantro. It was enough for a small dinner, but nothing impressive or fancy.

Bahn Xeo: The toasted and fluffy yellow pancake tasted okay, probably due to the turmeric. The sauce was extremely salty, a little sweet and a little tangy, nothing out of the ordinary. I had the impression that the restaurant didn't understand vegan cuisine at all, I'm sorry chef Arab, I expected better. The coffee was okay. The service was OK, but I understand that we are not in a restaurant.

For $23.28 for the main course and a soy latte, it was really disappointing.

Extremely rude staff and slow service. The server got angry when said we would like to place order after waiting for 20 minutes. Coffee arrived within 5 minutes and sandwich took 30+ minutes after that when restaurant was not busy. Bread was not fresh. We had to remind them about our order. Server slammed the plate on our table angrily. All the servers except the guy are highly impolite.

Guy was friendly, understanding and patient, rest of the staff was extremely unprofessional.

Very rude staff and unfriendly attitude. The one star is for the guy who was understanding and patient. The girl literally slammed the dish onto the table while serving with a haughty attitude.
