Loved this place, nice staff, nice place, want to enjoy a drink, or bar food? This is the place, I came here 3 times due to how amazing the customer service was. One of the best bars in town. No reservation needed.

Lovely place, food was ok. Nothing spectacular. I had the stew, which wasn't big but very tasty. Wife had Philly steak which was good apparently. Slow service and stew hot in places.

Love the building and great location in old Quebec City. Was very busy and yet, we didn't wait for a table because this place is huge! The fish and chips were very good and the fish pieces were massive! Irish Shepherd's pie was tasty.

We were visiting Quebec City in early October. We walked many miles on the day we visited, and were very hungry. We were seated outside (by choice). It was cold for us Floridians, so we appreciated the heaters on the patio. We were greeted warmly and promptly had our order taken.

I’ve actually had some amazing poutine, so I was looking forward to trying it in Canada. We always get fish n chips at every Irish pub we visit. Service was a bit slow for food, but our drinks came out fast. The poutine was just okay…not the best I’ve had. The fish n chips were also just okay. Unfortunately, the fish didn’t seem very fresh and it wasn’t as crispy as we prefer. The atmosphere and location made up for the food. It is a very nice historic building. The restrooms are downstairs in what seemed like another hidden pub? I’m glad I took a trip down there, because it was even more authentic of a feel downstairs.

We all love coming to Pub St-Patrick. This time all our food was a bit overcooked. We didn't mind since it is more about the gathering than food for us. We will always come back for more

My wife and baby went to Pub St Patrick and we unfortunately had a pretty negative experience.

We didn't have a reservation but there were some empty tables and others that came after us also didn't have reservations.

We agreed to a table near the entrance and we ended up being quite cold throughout the meal. The waitress didn't want the stroller to block the exits (which makes sense), but it should not be news to any one that strollers can fold neatly and don't take up much space.

We were not really greeted by any staff for 15 minutes. We ordered beer and nachos after being finally greeted. We had asked if we could move table because the empty tables were still empty. That request fell on deaf ears because the waitress said she would look into it but never followed back with us about switching table.

Food was eventually served but unfortunately it was not really to our liking (we might be opinionated, but liquid American cheese doesn't belong on nachos). Anyway, no one checked on us during the meal whatsoever until we were done with our meal.

Overall the host staff and waitress felt hostile and we didn't feel very welcomed.

Beer was good.

Been there a couple of times, atmosphere great but it was very crowded when we were there as was to be expected during Christmas markets. Out of a few dishes. Food was adequate.

Fine. It's a pub. The fish and chips were very bland and the tartar sauce was mostly mayonnaise. Had to re-ask for part of the meal they didn't send out.

You'll likely need a rerservation during the busy winter market season.

We had made a reservation fo 6 people. Upon arrival we inquired if we could be seated elsewhere as we were right by the door which kept opening and letting bitterly cold air in. The hostess said that there were no other available tables. However, members of the group went to the washroom and saw that there were many available tables. The section wasnt closed as there were many patrons sitting and eating. When we received our food it wasn't warm and needless to say that it cooled off very quickly as we were sitting by the door. Perhaps that at this time of the year you cater to tourists and customer service isn't a priority. Being Quebec city residents we were all very disappointed. We certainly won't be back anytime soon. Sorry!
