Food was good. It’s my first time at a Moroccan restaurant. The servers have limited English but very nice and the service is good. I’m only surprised that the main meal is served on a paper plate. It makes the experience ordinary.

Very crowded on holidays. Food is expensive but the taste and quality was not up to the mark unfortunately. There aren't too many halal options in the area so had to choose it.

We were on the road and ordered shish tawook plates and sandwiches and paid about 135$. There was barely any chicken in the plates and sandwiches - mostly rice and potatoes. After a long drive and opening the food at our destination, it was a disappointment. No drinks were given, which were part of the meal and paid for. Check food before you leave the establishment, when ordering takeaway .

For a poutine in Québec (albeit at a Moroccan restaurant), much is left to be desired. The fries were weak and soggy, even compared to fast-food places. The gravy was unmemorable and almost tasteless, lightly dusting the curds and fries. While the curds themselves were barely even curds, chewy instead of squeaky and more rubbery, almost melting, likely being overaged and tasting closer to a condensed slice of cheddar.

The three meats were not too shabby, and the small restaurant was a nice respite from the rain, though with the paper plates, trays, and service, a lower price point may have been warranted.

They fed us when we were hungry. Great for backpackers looking for a bite to eat and move to the next adventure. The restaurant does become busy and lively after 3pm because of the touristy crowd so wait times are longer for orders.
But…
The food is pricey for the value.
The poutine isn’t the best I’ve had but the beef mince version is good. Staff of two nice Moroccan ladies can’t communicate effectively in English although one of them tried very hard. If you have infants, then it’s not the place for you: the access isn’t good for pushchairs and neither are the sitting area or toilet.
Leaving a tip felt painful here, especially as they take the money in advance, like a takeaway.

I ordered the Shish Taouk chicken sandwich and was very disappointed. It tasted more like a mayo-heavy salad wrap than a proper chicken sandwich. There were only a few tiny pieces of chicken, and they seemed like scraps from the grill rather than a proper portion. Definitely not what I expected.

I appreciate the service and the food. If anyone doesn’t like this restaurant, their opinion should be reconsidered

Good Honest Halal food. The shawarmas were good and so was the tagine we ordered. Came with dips and salad. Good service.

We got the lamb shank and the gyro sandwich. I also asked the owner to swap the potato in the lamb shank to salad. Both the lamb shank and the gyro sandwich are the best we have ever had. The lamb shank is tender and juicy, but not over cooked. Dipping it with the hummus and sour cream provides the right balance. The gyro sandwich is made with pressed wraps. The wrap is crispy. The gyro is smoky and tasty. The salad and the rice also taste better than what we generally get in other places.

Looking for a halal restaurant to have dinner and we came here . The place was literally empty. The staff were super friendly but sadly the food was poor. We ordered the shawarma gyro, and the meat was poor. The chicken kebabs on skewers were the only fresh and tasty item ordered. The cous cous was dry and the garlic mayo AND hummus had both gone off. Sorry guys, but for what we paid ( average $20 per plate), this wasn’t good at all, you can’t be serving old food. Had to leave most of our meals as it was so bad.

Terrible food , it’s all stale and smelly . I highly recommend to avoid this place and they can’t understand English . We weee dining with 8 family members, nothing against small business , if you pay $20 per plate you expect something in return . Really bad choice we went here
