Amazing food, lamb was very soft and i had tried the traditional chicken dish with the lid on the top, it was very tasty. Person at the counter didnt speak English fluently vut we were able to get our point but pointing at menu items.

It's Christmas Eve. All the normal restaurants along the Rue St. Jean are filled. What surprised me was that if you went up the Rue St. Jean and crossed the Av Honoré-Mercier, you would have encountered this gem. Step inside and you are greeted like family.
The lighting is low and welcoming. Music playing softly. The staff greets you like a familiar face. The food is approachable and the smells coming from the kitchen are amazing.
What to order? The Mint Tea is a no brainer. The right combination of honey, tea, mint and spices.
The shish tawook sandwich was a hit with the kids.
The falafels were tender and tasty. The best dish was the braised leg of lamb.
Overall, definitely catch this gem the next time you are visiting old Quebec

Restaurantji Recommends
I do not recommend this restaurant. Despite the positive reviews on Google which encouraged us to go there, we were very disappointed. The food is of poor quality, the service is poor, and the prices are excessive for what is offered.
Tea, a delight!!! THANKS! I recommend😁

Amazing food, I love the taste. Emin’s service was amazing she was Very friendly. We had chicken over rice with potatoes and pasta salad. Forgot to take a picture. We are from Ontario where same dish prices are not more than $15 but I felt it was a little expensive. Apart from that rest all was great.
