We ordered takeout from India Masala and it was delicious. It was nice to have good Indian food in east end Montreal. We highly recommend trying the different dishes and the appetizer sampler. Next time, we would eat there as it is a very cute and cozy restaurant.

Incredible authentic indian food! The butter chicken and beef saag are a MUST! You can even have a cheese naan bread 😍🤤 Service is great and the decor is just so cosy and you feel in another country. Strongly recommend for any food enthousiast.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at India masala was so awful, I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment we walked in, it was a disaster. The host acted like we were inconveniencing him by asking for a table, even though the restaurant was empty.
The real kicker was the drinks. We ordered mango lassi and specifically asked if it had free refills. The waiter smiled and said yes. At the end of the meal, we were shocked to see we were charged THREE times for the mango lassi at $7.99 each! When we questioned the waiter, he claimed he never told said anything about the free refills. This was a blatant lie and felt like a complete rip-off. Save your money and your appetite – go somewhere else!
