Come for the sunset, the drinks, and the parmesan fries. This is our fourth visit and we are always impressed by the venue. The view is spectacular!

Was looking forward to eating here. We have just come from Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia where our lobster rolls were at least a quarter pound of lobster for under $30. Here for $38 you got a few pieces of lobster, shrimp but more filler than anything was I disappointed. The pretzel bun was delicious though. Staff were super friendly and the setting was beautiful.
Three stars becuase they closed the kitchen at 9pm, so we had to go somewhere else. Beautiful setting w outdoor gas flame heaters.
Located within the Auberge De La Pointe it's a nice little dining spot. Fairly pricey though it compensates by the views and the experience. FYI: if you don't like uncooked food or cold food just confirm with the staff before you place your order. We ordered what we thought were normal-sounding foods just to realize it was cold and also uncooked. Thankfully the staff helped me get my salmon cooked and hot. Not sure how I could eat cold food😅

The octopus salad 🐙 is out of the world! With the view of st Lawrence river, made a perfect night! Too bad that too many mosquitoes outside; that’s the only thing annoying. The tuna steak appetizer is only ok.

Great views at sunset. But food and service not so great. Pork poutine was dry and too salty. Had to ask for Tabasco sauce multiple times and never brought to the table. Seemed like the staff was worried about an event and forgot about our table. Best part was definitely the view.

We stayed at the campground next to this restaurant and walked over for dinner. They have an amazing view of the sunset, and the restaurant has a lovely patio as well. It was a bit chilly the evening we went, so we opted to sit inside. It took a while to be greeted by the server and get some drinks and water, but the food came out quick once ordered. We ordered the grilled octopus salad, tuna tataki, beer braised beef poutine & lobster shrimp roll. We enjoyed the food, the standout was the lobster shrimp roll. We visited this place on a 14 days cross Atlantic trip, with plenty of lobster roll dinners, and I thought that their lobster roll was particularly unique - I loved the pretzel bun, and the well balanced dressing that was in the roll. I forgot to take a photo before chomping into my roll - sorry!

Food was delicious. Gluten free items are confusing. I ordered the lobster/shrimp roll sans roll because of gluten and when it arrived, it came without the fries, because of gluten. Understandably but charged the full price. It was delicious and nice on patio, but really? Not a tiny break. Oh well still had a good time; except waitress didn’t come by the whole time we ate.

Had a great experience at the hotel and restaurant!
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I really want to highlight Mireille, the bartender — super positive, friendly, and full of great energy. She made my visit even more enjoyable with her attitude and amazing drinks.
Big thanks for the great service, good vibes, and delicious cocktails. It’s always nice to be in a place where people clearly enjoy what they do. Definitely recommend both the hotel and the restaurant — I’ll be happy to come back!

Not the cheapest place in town, but the portions are generous, the food is delicious and well presented. Plus you can't beat the location - on a rise overlooking the St. Lawrence. A wonderful spot to watch the sunset.

Heartwarming welcome. Quality products but the flavors could be revised. Overly marinated octopus salad (ceviche style) with excellent orange reduction but which takes over the octopus. The octopus should be the star and it's not... too bad. Having eaten lobster rolls at IPE, this one was disappointing. Too juicy and once again, too much flavor which masks the taste of the Lobster. The place and the view nevertheless remain magnificent. The chef loves the flavors and it shows... a little too much unfortunately... I still recommend having tasted the parmesan fries... wow really good!
