I went to this place for the vegetarian options. The soup and bines offered without bacon on request, which I really appreciate. I had to insist on having the other 2 options, otherwise the waitress didn't seem to want to bring them to me: either the veggie cretons (which were homemade and very good, thank you) and the veggie sausages (which was hard and rubbery, but still the effort is there). The omelette was incredibly oily and the boiled potatoes were hard and dry, there is a great opportunity for improvement here. The maple mousse is worthy of mention. The place is really beautiful, rustic and friendly, I loved the violinist for the atmosphere. It's the most beautiful sugar shack I've visited, it could become the best by putting more anour into the dishes and the service.

Music a little too loud for the afternoon, difficult to chat.My most negative point is the water...sulphurous water, it smells like rotten eggs and it tastes nothing refreshing. :(

Wheelchair accessibility: A person in a wheelchair cannot reach the toilet and the sink faucets. There is also a step to enter the establishment. It is "possible" for someone who has assistance but it is not adapted in this sense.

The water they served smelled like rotten eggs, which is indicative of hydrogen sulfide present. As a pregnant person who took a few sips before noticing I am extremely upset and it ruined the whole experience. I don’t understand how no one complained about the smell - I’m sure they did. I tried to call and leave a message to inform them of this, but they did not answer and their voicemail is full. The food was mediocre, but typical of cabane a sucre. But the water…absolutely disgusting and it was for sure used for the coffee, and cooking.

Very mediocre cabane à sucre. It's nice that it's bring your own beer and authentic place, but they rushed us to finish each plate and to leave. They didn't have tourtière ! No bacon! The food was okay...best part was the soup and the coffee tasted good. The water smells and taste like sulfur. The staff was nice but you can tell they are quite busy and no time to waste. I won't be coming back here.

Just one word to say: WOW!We were welcomed by the owner, a very friendly and smiling woman. Then, we were lucky enough to be served by Guillaume, a server who was so kind, welcoming and above all, present throughout the service to see that everything was going well and that nothing was missing from the table. As for food, we tasted homemade dishes made with love. From the soup to the dessert, everything on the table was a real treat. We really fell in love with the maple mousse accompanying the dessert, we put it all on the pancakes and it was a real delight. As for the atmosphere, we really go back to basics with a soloist upstairs playing folk songs. The children play the spoon and share a beautiful moment with the artist. The decor is rural and family-friendly, it's really warm.I highly recommend. We found our family sugar shack.
