The food I ordered was Two Salmon. Its better to put picture in the menu. With the description I couldn't able to guess the food as shown in the picture. Otherthan that wounderful service.

The music (chansonnier) was much too loud for dinner time...you had to shout to be heard. Maybe background music during dinner hours and louder after 8 p.m.?

Hello, we were visiting Saint-Georges and decided to have dinner at the shaker, because I have tried the shaker in Laval and the one in Rimouski several times and I love it. However, I was really disappointed with the quality of service. A first waitress came to take our order for drinks and then sat at the bar in front of us without saying anything. A second came and we ordered our starters and our meal, as well as a bottle of wine. The service was garrotte...as if she wanted to get rid of it. we received our bottle of wine when we had just received our cocktail. The waitress didn't clear our plates from the starter after 15-20 minutes, we had to tell her because she never came to see us. There were two of us on a small high table, so it took up a lot of space. The beef tartare was way too salty and the two salmon tartare tasted weird and we received bad croutons. Also we had a mountain of salad which hid our tartars. The presentation was really to be desired. The waitress never came to ask us if it was okay. She came to us after the meal to ask if we wanted the bill, but our wine glasses were full and there was wine left in the bottle. In short, a big disappointment and it cost us $200 for this bad service and ordinary and poorly seasoned food. I do not recommend this restaurant.
