We mostly go there for breakfast and have been a few times for lunch. The service is great. All the waitresses are so sweet and kind. The prices are great. The food is exactly what to expect for a restaurant of this style. It's perfect for what it is !
English speakers beware. You are in the Canadian province where French is THE official language, as it should be. But, if you can smile, say bon jour, or merci, and point to what you want, you'll enjoy your stop here!Our waitress was pleasantly brusk and she played along with my linguistic deficit in a maternal sort of way which made me like her even more. I have rarely been disappointed with the oasis, normally everything is very good, especially the pizza but this evening I wanted to do something different so I had a double cheeseburger...to my great surprise they were frozen meatballs that you can buy at Walmart, it would have been nice to make them by hand with real ground meat... as long as I paid $20 for that and a fries/liquor I would have made it myself but after an exhausting week I felt like taking out... yes, next time...read full review
