While you may think this is just a typical restaurant, our shrimp & smoked salmon sandwich was most excellent and our waitress was so attentive and lovely too! We were seated inside with a nice view of the river. Would love to come here again.
This was our first and first meal on the island, we were a little shy also because of only knowing english in a french speaking city but we were welcomed and serviced by such a warm beautiful young lady - Annabelle, that it left us with lifetime good memories. Food is great as well as the fried pickles, which we tried for the first time ever. Our waitress was great and she tried her best to speak English. Oh and the strawberry pie was excellent, well worth the extra calories! Can highly recommend this place when on the ile d’orleans.
