Awesome restaurant at the service area off the highway. As usual with Quebec, food was excellent, service friendly, and they kindly switched to English for us! Stopped here for breakfast on a journey between PEI and Ontario. Excellent crepes and eggs Benedict, with some artisan ham.

I have been to many Normandins all over Quebec and my family and I really enjoy them. We stopped in St Jean Port Joli, to have breakfast on our way back home to Moncton NB. We made our way up to the hostess stand and got seated pretty fast, then waited ten minutes for anyone to come get our drink order. OJ/water, coffee/water, chocolate milk/water, we never got the water. My middle girl who speaks French very well order, and I asked for the same as she had, and my youngest ordered. And we waited...and waited. Coffee gone, I can see our server filling coffee and interacting with her customers. Food comes she drops of my middle girls and the youngest's then mine and and mine is all wrong, but our server is already gone and it has been over an hour now we waited. Coffee still empty and no one came over to see after two bites. I finally flagged down the hostess and explained my order was wrong and we had not seen our waitress since she dropped off the food, she said ok one minute, and left. My kids are now done eating and no one has come back to our table. We ended up spending over 2 hours in the restaurant and it would have been more had i not gone looking for our bill.

I had chicken brochettes with rice, potatoes and salad. The chicken and the rice was bland. Would be nice if there were more savoured

The Staff were wonderful in helping English speaking people feel comfortable while making French speaking patrons feel at home.

I didn't get to eat here eventually.
The waiter at the door walked away when it was our turn to be seated and did not return to seat us until we had to firmly call out and request for someone to seat us.
We quickly realised it was a ploy to discourage people coming in as they said it will take 45minutes after ordering for your food to come.
Again, the waiter who was going to serve us after we got seated creatively suggested the Macdonalds opposite might be a better place to go to.
We did go to the Macdonald opposite them.

All our toast were burned black. Little think of jam and kept having to ask for more. No refill on coffee.

I ordered a medium alldressed pizza to bring. The pizza was good but we didn't even cut it. Fak I had to tear it with my hands. Never seen it.

extremely courteous and super understanding staff... I had a super important zoom meeting and my waitress took care of setting me up in a quiet place and she took VERY good care of me to see to what
everything is ok for me, impeccable meals and services..Congratulations to all this great team. I highly recommend this restaurant 👌

I have eaten at alot of places over the years as a trucker driver first time eatting here and this place was the worst in customer service. Food wasn't even hot,waitress never even came to check on me once after I received my food!! Clearly cause I don't speak French I was kicked like a bag of trash. Will not eat here again next time stopping here i will eat something in my truck
After speaking with customer service I thought i would give the restaurant another chance so one week and one day after the last visit I am happy to say the experience was very very positive food was hot waitress was awesome came around a few times while I was eating and dining room was busy and she did this not only with just me but all tables
