Le Numéro 7 - Brasserie Moderne

Not our first time at this restaurant, the food is good but not outstandingly good and the portions are quite small so you have to pair you dish with a side. We are aware of all that and choose to come back. Last night… big disappointment and honestly, will not come back. The reservation was at 5 and considering we had a show to attend afterwards, we knew that we had to leave shortly after 7. The service was great, our server made us feel at ease. We were a party of 5 and shortly after 7, after getting the addition and finishing our drinks slowly, the supervisor came to the table to tell us that since our reservation was at 5, we were expected to leave at 7. We completely understood while he mentioned that there are other customers waiting for our table since the place is packed tonight. We felt bad for making people wait on us and left our table. When we stood up and left, we saw that there were plenty of unoccupied tables… PLENTY… the restaurant even seemed EMPTY! Seriously?! Of course we were going to leave but was it necessary to make us feel bad and say the place was packed? It was NOT. The supervisor was not professional at all and he could have just say… would you like something else to drink or a dessert perhaps? And we would have totally get the message that it was our cue! So for that reason, We will not come back anytime soon if ever to that restaurant!

Absolutely everything about this place is fantastic, great vibes and fantastic staff, will definitely come back whenever I have the chance

Dîner de Noël Nous avons attendu près de 40 minutes avant d’être servis, et lorsque les plats sont enfin arrivés, ceux-ci ont été servis deux assiettes à la fois. De plus, deux de nos invités n’ont pas été servis en même temps que le reste du groupe. Après que tout le monde ait enfin été servi, les assiettes ont été présentées de manière désordonnée, ce qui a entraîné une situation particulièrement désagréable. L’un de nos invités, ayant dû partir avant que son repas ne lui soit servi, et l’autre a été contraint de demander un plat à emporter. Cette expérience a été très décevante et ne correspond pas aux attentes que nous avions en choisissant votre restaurant pour un événement aussi spécial. Nous espérons que vous prendrez en compte nos remarques afin d’améliorer la qualité du service à l’avenir.

Last Thursday night we were in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu after a long day of driving and just wanted to sit down for a nice meal. The challenge: we had our dog Piet with us, and it was nearly 30°C outside.

Our first stop said a firm no to bringing Piet onto the patio. Thankfully, we then found Le Numéro 7 — and what a difference! Not only did they warmly welcome Piet onto their patio, but they even brought him a bowl of water and his very own appetizer.

The service was outstanding. The manager checked in with us several times, and a special thanks to Sofia Mosquera, who looked after all three of us so kindly and professionally. The food was equally impressive — the Duo de tartares was absolutely delicious.

Thank you to everyone at Le Numéro 7 for turning what could have been a stressful evening into a wonderful and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

When the waitress lets you mistakenly order something she very much knows you don't mean to order just so she can add way more $$ to the bill and make a bigger tip... That deserves less than one star.
The food was good and the atmosphere was upbeat and pleasant though. But I still won't come back, just because of my experience with the staff.

When it's reached that the employees are asked to ask their acquaintances for 5 star reviews then the message of their skills is quite clear 😂😂😂 and having been there once Bha it's really high as price for quality

The strength of the concept is to be Instagrammable. The decoration is beautiful, the plates are superb, the atmosphere is good.
The service is good despite a long wait for a restaurant which is empty by the time we receive the starters. Our waitress remained pleasant and pleasant throughout the service.
For me, the kitchen is the element that will make me never go back there. The items on the menu are intended to be gourmet, but the level of cooking does not reach the desire to be gourmet. Meals are bland or poorly balanced. Quantities and prices are poorly studied. The kitchens do not hold everything that is on the menu and there is a shortage of certain items during service.

To summarize, an experience full of promises that the restaurant does not know how to keep.

I loved my dining experience! The piri-piri chicken with sushi and mac & cheese was perfect and of course with a beer sample platter 🍻 Loved this place! I highly recommend 👌
