The restaurant is in need of a big cleanup. The tables all worn, piece of wall missing, dirty, outside entrance full of cigarette butts, men's bathroom dirty mirror. Smokemeat so-so, cole slaw tasteless, rye bread dry, pickle not great. Definitely won't be back.
Lots of options, smoked meat is quite good, portions are generous enough.
Friendly service but Nickels has seen better days. Bathrooms are abysmal - hold it if you can.
