This was by far the worst culinary, if that word even applies here, experience. Bar none. Like ever. Ever. Ever, ever and ever.
I’m all for keeping it local but Jesus Christ, standards people, honour and standards. It’s the bare minimum.

Nobody in the restaurant and for a reason. The customer service is terrible. Even though the food is delicious, the lady was very stern and would not offer clarifications for my friend who had difficulty with the menu.

This restaurant is like a time capsule from the 80s: nostalgia guaranteed, cigarette smell included, even if it’s 2025. The decor? Pure retro atmosphere. But let's talk about the real subject: the wonton soup was delicious, the egg rolls were perfectly crispy, and the chicken was soo guy? Poetry in sauce! Special mention to the waitress, who was incredibly nice and seemed to really care about making sure your experience was enjoyable, despite the slight vintage scent in the air. A perfect place if you like Chinese classics and a dose of time travel – but remember to keep your nose open for adventure!

Excellent value for money for a dinner for two at Vieux Saint-Lambert.
The portions are extremely generous, and the food is delicious and fresh.
We were impressed by the quality of the dishes, which were perfectly seasoned, with authentic flavors that took us on a journey. The waitress, although alone and visibly overwhelmed by the traffic, did an excellent job of serving us with a smile and a lot of kindness. Despite the challenge of managing many customers at once, she gave her best, and we were very well received and served.
An experience that we recommend without hesitation!

The restaurant is so dirty and unsanitary no common sense! While I was waiting for my order I was thinking “well no that’s not so bad” until I got home.. we threw everything in the trash.. just one terrible word!

This was our usual Chinese restaurant despite the person at the front (owner).

I went back to pick up our meals in a restaurant that smelled like cigarettes more than ever.

Back home, our meals tasted nothing less than ashtray. We threw everything in the compost. A shame.

This was our last experience.

Finally, real Chinese dishes like in the 60s to 80s! Egg rolls that taste like egg rolls. Tasty and meaty spare ribs. Fresh, well-seasoned vegetables with good sauces. And the best? The prices beat all competition! Less than $25, taxes included, for a No. 3 for two that can easily feed three people (6 egg rolls are included). Which comes to about $8 per person. A classic Chinese restaurant in St-Lambert. This is THE place! To try without fail.

Skip the pb dumplings they tasted old and stale. The waitress insisted they were made today, I'm surprised it's still open.

It starts with a very stupid lady at reception who seems in a hurry to take the order even if the restaurant is empty...the spare hibs are not cooked very hard, the meat doesn't fall apart...the eggrolls are burnt, the sooguy is burnt plum and cherry sauces diluted with water are not edible. I WILL NEVER LIE AGAIN!
