We dropped into Amaraya Resto-Café in Saint-Laurent for a quick break, coffee, something sweet, and shisha. The service was friendly and attentive, and our dessert was genuinely excellent (fresh and really well presented). The place has a lively, welcoming vibe and a broader menu beyond cafés and sweets, so it feels like somewhere you could easily stay longer for a proper meal. It’s also handy that they’re open into the evening, which makes it a great spot for a late catch-up. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the food options.

Cold welcoming. The restaurant was empty, yet they say to you no availability.

We drive all the way from toronto to the vibe of this resturant we sat in 20 mins and no one came to take our order , so we just left and rge resturant was empty the guy was on his tiktok. Bad service .

We came to this restaurant because we had someone in our group who smokes, but when we arrived, they didn’t allow him to smoke unless he ordered a shisha from them. They said cigarette smoke has an unpleasant smell, even though the entire place is filled with shisha smoke! On top of that, the restaurant is expensive and the prices are not reasonable at all. Very disappointing experience.

Exceptional Shisha Lounge & Dining Experience! 🌟

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home.

The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh flavors, beautifully presented dishes, and generous portions. The kunafa was perfection, crispy and golden with just the right amount of sweetness, and paired wonderfully with the rich Arabic coffee. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the creamy chicken to the crisp refreshing salads.

The shisha was top quality — smooth, flavorful, and perfectly packed. It lasted long and the team checked on us regularly to make sure everything was perfect.

I couldn’t make it past the door because as soon as I got inside, the lady in front didn’t even say hi. She saw me and said : “The table of Anya is in the back.” I realized she automatically assumed that I was there to meet with people who had a table in the back with a few black people on it. The whole interaction was so uncomfortable. Please don’t bother go there, especially if you’re black.

Food was good, service is horrible!
My shisha ran out of charcoal and I told the guy to replace it, he never did, after 20 min, I removed the old charcoal which was in the size of a pea! He passed by and put them back on!!! Didnt even replace them!

Horrible service ! And rude servers. Also, too much lighting, the atmosphere sucks!

I had an excellent experience at Amaraya! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The menu has a great variety, from hearty classics to lighter options, and everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for casual outings. What stood out the most was the friendly and attentive service—staff really made us feel taken care of. Shisha was great as well, Definitely one of the best spots in the area for quality dining. Highly recommended!
