Visited Coronet twice last week after not having their pizza in over 40 years! First thought was, this is expensive for pizza and then out came the pizza and I was awed by the weight. It was just as delicious as decades ago and well worth the cost. It looks like the restaurant has not changed since it opened in1962 and that's a good thing!!

I’ve been going here since I could remember. My dad grew up with the guys. Such lovely people and amazing, amazing food!! Please support them. Really is a gem in this city and I’ll happily drive through Montreal traffic for their pizza.

Okay, the truth is we came to eat inside as I heard great things about this place.
However, there were winter jackets hanging on coat hangers in the middle of July, which may or may not have contributed to the overall foul stench of the place; reeking smell was like dirty feet.
I'm only making this post to have the owner, whether it was the gentleman behind the counter or not, to give the place a deep clean, get the air circulating and find a solution to the foul unbearable odours that forced us to evacuate. We would be insane to stay.
Of course if you're doing take out this is a non issue, and I am not commenting on the food itself I'm sure and hope it's clean and fresh

These folks, in my opinion, used to be the best in St. Laurent but somehow have slipped in overall quality and taste. .. Now that's just my opinion .. You may like it .. I'd say if you haven't tried them , give them a try. For me, though, there are a few local places I prefer. So I won't be ordering from them again
