District 961

I came here for a birthday event starting at 9pm. We weren’t served appetizers until 2 hours later at 11pm and then the main dish, which had undercooked meat until 2 hours after that at 1am. This death trap doesn’t even serve you regular water, you have to pay for water bottles and the waiters don’t clean up your dirty plates when you’ve finished. There was supposed to be a desert course too for the 65$ per person I was paying but after the undisputed worst dining experience of my life (and I’ve had terrible ones, believe that), I was practically sprinting out of there. If you see this, do everything in your power to never go here and I’ll be filing a report with the health authorities. And the police.

I recently dined at District 961, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The restaurant is quite small and felt cramped, which detracted from the overall atmosphere. As for the food, it lacked flavor and creativity, leaving me underwhelmed. While I appreciate that every place can have an off day, I didn’t find enough to make me want to return. Overall, it needs improvement to stand out in a crowded dining scene.

If you value your hearing, avoid this restaurant—the live music is unbearably loud and overwhelming.
On top of that, the food and service are overpriced at $65 per person.
Expensive beer and they charged me $6 for a small bottle of water!!!
While the appetizers were decent, the main course was disappointing, with just a few small pieces of meat and chicken.

We were very disappointed: the meal was served in a very small quantity, to share for 6 people, and the price was really excessive. My friend ordered a bottle of wine for $55, but the taste was not good. He complained, preferring to go to another restaurant offering better value. Luckily a group of 12 canceled at the last minute, otherwise it would have been even more unfortunate. Sorry, but we won't be back.

They charged us 70$ per person for a Saturday night and we saw other persons came and they just ordered drinks and they left
How come you told us for a Saturday night that you charged 140$ for 2 persons and you don't charge for all the same amount??????
The food is average, the alcohol is so bad quality, the music is so loud you can't hear anything, we found the price so expensive and we didn't enjoy at all

Menu was $70 per person for a set of two (so $140). No choice. Bottle of water was $5 (no tap water possible).
Way over priced even if the food was decent.

Music was very very loud. Great for a party. Not so great if you want to be able to talk a little with your friend that sits by you...

Too expensive for nothing

Nothing is good except the DJ ???

More than that, there is no light and no harm in it. Mistreatment and lack of morals are unparalleled. In miserliness, they preceded those of Al-Jahiz. More than this, there is no light and no lies, no injury, no harm. The mistreatment and lack of manners are unparalleled. And in stinginess, they preceded the stingy ones of Al-Jahiz.

They don’t serve beer !!! Despite it is in the menu and just said they don’t have it only for tonight !!!!

Very very expensive for what it is: $100 per person for a drink, light starters and two skewers to share between 4 people!! This is really exaggerated. Extremely noisy so we can't talk to each other. Don't go there to eat.

overall it was not bad, but too much noise and what was unbearable was the bad smell from the pipes in the toilets, I couldn't even breathe, think about solving this problem!
