Funny how there's a Petino's in all of the surrounding cities of Montreal but not in Montreal itself. I got the chance to come out the way to try this locally famed chain. Been there a few times...atmosphere is alright..service is alright. I find the taste of the food has decreased but its not only here. I had a french toast with nutella and bananas. Still waiting on the hazelnut taste from the nutella.

I recommend trying the Montérégie Half Waffle with Strawberries, English Cream and Nutella. The waffle tastes great. It comes with eggs and sausage. Eggs are cooked to your choice. I had over easy eggs and they were cooked perfectly. I also recommend upgrading to Petinos potatoes, they add cheese and hollandaise sauce on top of the potatoes! Totally worth the 3.50$. The meal also comes with toast and coffee....
