I have always ordered takeout from this restaurant and have been very satisfied. I even left a 5-star review in the past. Unfortunately, my experience dining in today was extremely disappointing.
My daughter and I decided to eat at the restaurant and ordered one XL pho, which is a very large portion and more than enough to share between two people. When we placed the order, the lady taking it had an attitude and said, “That’s it? Just this?” which already made us uncomfortable.
When the food arrived, we were given only one empty bowl. When I politely asked for a second bowl so we could share the soup, she became upset and said, “Why do you need another one? That’s a lot of work for us.” I was honestly shocked by this response but calmly explained that we needed two bowls to share.
When I went to pay, I mentioned that I didn’t appreciate how we were treated and that I was disappointed. Instead of apologizing, she argued with me and kept repeating that it was too much work and that they had a lot of customers.
Good food does not excuse poor customer service. Being made to feel unwelcome for sharing a meal, especially with a child, was very upsetting. Sadly, this experience completely changed my view of this place.

My international student friend was unfamiliar with the tipping culture here and asked what a tip is. Instead of calmly explaining what it was, she got yelled at by the server.
The food is tasty!

The best general tao in Montréal by far

It’s ok but they need to work on a few things. The General Tao sauce is like glue and slimy, the pieces too big and not appealing. Everything is soggy. Service is meh. They need to pay more attention to detail, refine their dishes. They have potential. Success is in the details!

I enjoy the Vietnamese cuisine and probably tried +50 different ones ... this one was the worse. Came in for lunch, restaurant has no charms, waiter\owner is serving you without any interest. I took a lunch special bowl with chicken and beef with noodles plus a spring roll on the side
The roll average, noodles ok, the beef all fat and chicken fried, over fried.I left Teo third of my bowl.
The positive, the kitchen was open so you see what they were preparing to a certain extent. They had a TV screen with nice scenery of Switzerland.
I will not go back for a while.

One of most honest pho in the whome city. Their broth is delicous and of the most quality bones. I notice my take-away broth keeps the consistent gel-like texture that is similar to my family home-made pho. They are also very generous with the meat in the bowl. Please keep your generosity!

Their General Tao is steaming hot and delicious, with generous portions. The pho might be one of the best in town. Friendly service too!

The reason I rated this restaurant 1 star considering the good customer service is the absolutely terrible food. We ordered general tao chicken with a grilled beef plate. The rice was overcooked and wet. The general tao chicken was very soggy and some parts were undercooked. For 40$ I feel robbed. Stay away if you value your time, money and stomachs!

This place offers a good quality price, but it is not the best pho or BBQ rice I ate because I found everything on the sweet side. But one thing is certain for the price, the portions are generous.
Tasteless tbh
