Great chicken sandwich and good puddings. Very similar to Middle Eastern equivalents. Would go here again if I still studied nearby

Wow Best afro made sandwich ever had in Mtl a long time.
Nice chef, food well cooked and kids loved this place. For those who don't want to wait, buffet is available as well.

I went there a couple of times, and for some reason the prices are always changing.... 2 people on the Friday buffet should be 76$, but first time I paid 114, second time I paid 103.... I feel like they charge wtv they want whenever they want... Good food and I support my Africans, but they shouldn't be ripping people off.....

Mix of restaurant and afro shop. This is the only afroshop I have seen being that clean, well organized and spacious with a really friendly service.
Went there for lunch and the food was definitely tasty and portions were big. Lot of choices in the menu.

The family and I tried this new West African restaurant and we loved it. It's a large space, nicely decorated that includes a small grocery as well as African clothing and accessory stores.
I also like that it's an open kitchen and you can see the preparation.
The owner and her staff were very welcoming and the decor is nice with large booths that can easily seat 6.
The buffet had lots of choices, many meat dishes, and each dish we tried was better than the next. I am pretty new to West African cuisine but had eaten jollof a few times before. This one was, by far, the best one I ever tasted. The dishes are very well seasoned but not overly spicy (I usually eat low to med spicy).
The food tastes like it was made at home with love.
The prices are fair considering it's all you can eat and the selection of quality meat and fish dishes.
The buffet was 34$ per person and we also had a pitcher (very large one) of ginger juice (if you like fresh ginger a must try) for 5$.
We all rolled out of the restaurant fully satisfied knowing we'd definitely be back.
The restaurant is a 5 min. walk away from du Collège metro station and there is usually a decent amount of paid parking on Decarie street in that area.
