Had dinner the other night, a Tuesday evening. The place was definitely not busy. We were a table of 8 and there were two other tables of two. There was one waitress. Took over 20 minutes to get a bottle opener for the wine and almost 30 minutes for the bread to be put on the table to eat with the oil and balsamic vinegar. Again we had to get up to ask. Service was excruciatingly slow and out of sync with the how we ordered. We tried to explain to the waitress and then another person that the table was not being served in a way that we got our meals at the same time. The waitress tried her best, but the other person, possibly the owner's wife came over and spoke in a harsh, demeaning way to us. Rather than trying to apologize or explain the delay, she made us feel that it was our fault in the way we ordered. However, we noticed that the owner and partner sat in the back having coffee and not bothering to help the waitress in serving.Needless to say, the food was very good, but we would not go back. I have never been to a restaurant where the owner and staff makes the client feel like they are wrong for asking why it's taking so long. Terrible service, terrible attitude.

Food was pricey but I have to say quite good. There were only 3 tables of people in the restaurant. The proportion of my food was huge and therefore I only ate about 60% of it. The owner came to every table to ask how things were etc. very awkward and it just made me uncomfortable. Then he says to me "you didnt like it?" because I had one chicken breast left over. I said "it was good" and he gives me a look and is like "are you sure ok then"... Talk about weird.. To make things even better, the chef came out to talk to every table after.. Definately dont want to experience that level of awkward at a restaurant ever again.

The food was very good and very reasonable. The only complaint if the the service was very slow. We went on a Saturday evening and the place was packed. Perhaps less hectic on a weekday evening. Otherwise than that very good!
