Great and friendly staff going out of their way to greet and ensure you are always happy with your meal, drink, etc. Ambiance was great as there's always a party group celebrating birthday or other event and Christmas celebrations are starting so atmosphere was very nice.

Je connaissais l'endroit pour y être déjà allé. Expérience renouvelée pour cause. Toujours aussi agréable. Service à la table chaleureux et impeccable. Nourriture excellente. Prix raisonnable. Je recommande.

We were a party of 9. We were welcomed on time to our table. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food was brought out seamlessly. Our water glasses were continually refilled. The food was hot, plentiful and we all enjoyed. Since we were a large group, we chatted a lot past finishing our meal and didn't realize the restaurant was near closing time. We did not feel that the staff wanted us to leave, they were kind and courteous from beginning to end. It wasn't our first time there and I'm already craving to go back!

Absolutely the Best Greek Restaurant in Montreal!

Souvlaki Bar Saint-Laurent is hands down our favorite spot in the city! The food is always fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Greek flavor, with big portions that never disappoint. Every dish tastes like it’s made with real care and top-quality ingredients.

The staff are amazing, always kind, professional, and welcoming, which makes every visit such a pleasure. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and perfect whether you’re going out with friends or family.

A huge shoutout to Jerry, the best manager ever! He always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of. My friends and I go there every week after soccer, and it’s truly become our go-to spot.

Very good customer service. A table in a quieter spot was needed and the manager accommodated without delay. Ariane was excellent. Friendly, informative and skilled as a waitress. The food was fresh and servings were generous. I look forward to returning the next time I am in VSL.

I recently ate with my husband for the first time.
We have had a very bad experience as we did not like potato fries which was not fresh.
We highly were disappointed.

Don’t go here if you have any allergies. They don’t care. Just wanted me to order super fast. I felt very rushed. They don’t know what they use in the kitchen. No one I talked to was understanding what allergy means I think, and they don’t know what they use in the kitchen. Even the manager doesn’t know what are the ingredients in their menu.

Popped in for takeout. The hostess was excellent, she helped us make our choices. The place was busy but I could see all staff was working efficiently, including the owner. Food was on point, great Greek salad.

Came in the other day with colleagues of mine for a goodbye party and sadly my experience wasn't up to par. At the start we had a nice woman ask if we wanted anything to drink yet (only two of us had arrived at the time) my colleague took something but I didn't (I hadn't really looked at the options yet). She brought us both glasses of water .Maybe 30 minutes/ An hour later , everyone arrived and another male server came to ask one of my colleague if she wanted something to drink (mind you she's in front of me) , I also wanted to order a drink but the man quickly left without asking anyone else if they wanted something.

For the next 30 minutes I proceeded to wait to get a hold of him (he was busy serving other tables so I understand). He even went to serve other of my colleagues for drinks, but I felt completely ignored. So I ended up raising my hand to get his attention and then he came and I ordered a drink, which was delicious btw. But then as this is happening everyone is also waiting for him , or anyone, to come take our orders. After another 30 minutes passes still no one comes so I end up again raising my hand to get someone's attention to tell them we are ready to order food.

Now as a vegetarian, I was saddened to see there wasn't that many interesting options, but I decided to try the gyro plate with pita. Inside was cucumbers, onions, tomatoes and salad + garlic sauce. Sadly it was pretty lacking in taste :/ there are many options of vegetarian proteins existing and none of them were used. The rice was good and the fries too, but yeah the food overall was lackluster, at least for me.

I'd say it wasn't a bad experience, but it definitely wasn't good either. I don't know if maybe in this restaurant you're supposed to get the waiter's attention to get things moving and maybe we were just not used to this, but I would have appreciated a more present type of serving.
